Oceanside Dental Daytona

I visited this office using my Ameritas PrimeStar Complete dental insurance. At check-in, I was informed that the X-rays required for an initial cleaning would cost approximately $200 out of pocket. This potential charge had not been disclosed to me in advance by phone or email. Because the amount was unexpected, I contacted my insurance provider to verify coverage and was waiting for a supervisor to clarify the benefits. During this process, the office advised that they could no longer see me due to time constraints and asked me to leave. Although I remained calm and did not raise my voice, law enforcement was contacted. The experience was stressful and disappointing, particularly due to the lack of upfront financial transparency and the decision to escalate the situation rather than work through the insurance verification process.

Finding a dentist has been such a struggle, let alone finding one who actually cares about her patients. Dr. Jamidar is the BEST dentist I have ever had in my life. As someone who needs a lot of dental work, she made me feel welcomed & let me know everything would be okay. She’s very knowledgeable, professional and like I said SHE CARES. Her entire staff is beyond amazing. Let’s just say, I have finally found the dentist I will be coming to for life!

As a new patient, I was able to fill out the necessary paperwork online and ahead of time. Availability of appointments was more than accommodating. Arrived on time for my appointment and was checked in quickly and efficiently. Employees were great, doc was fantastic, I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and able to get back to work after my routine cleaning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

A genuinely enjoyable experience…something I’ve never said about a dentist visit before! Dr. Jamidar is professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. This goes for her awesome staff, too. The office is spotlessly clean, modern, and has a gorgeous tropical view from the windows in the exam rooms. The exam, x-rays and cleaning itself was beyond compare! I left feeling so fresh~all smiles here! Thanks doc and staff ✌️

Had an awesome new patient experience here. Loved the EFDA Assistant Ashley. So friendly and knowledge she put me right as ease. The Dr was very professional, easy to talk to, explained what she was doing and what future needs I have. The office was very neat, clean and they have all new state of the art equipment and sterilization procedures. We will bring our friends and family here. Thank you!

I absolutely love my new dentist!! Dr. Jamidar is a fabulous doctor; she's SMART, professional, welcoming, & caring; she, also, surrounds herself with employees that are smart, professional & caring! Shout out to Cheyanne & Hailey🤎 The office is beautiful with big, picture windows to calm your nerves; the garden is cared for by Dr. Jamidar; a pair of cardinals greeted me,which was a delight & took my anxiety away.

I am so thankful to Dr. Tejal Jamidar and her team. Last week I had a dental emergency. Dr. Jamidar was able to get me in, diagnosis the problem, and was able to help me fix the issue. Her team is amazing from Nicole up front who made check in a breeze, to Cheyanne her assistant who helped Dr. Jamidar with fixing my issue. I am no longer in pain and I am so greatful. Dr. Jamidar has a patient for life from me.
