Love this office! Dr. Steven and Dr. Sarah are such salt of the earth people who value their patients. I feel they practice conservatively and only recommend needed services. The office is beautiful and clean. As someone with anxiety, this office definitely understood and eased my mind. Highly recommend!

Dentist offices ABSOLUTELY TERRIFY me, so have been dragging my feet for years, hesitant to make an appointment anywhere. Someone close to me suggested Southern Smiles, and I brushed it off for a while, but long story short, I ended up in a bit of pain and had no other option. Reluctantly, I called and made my appointment. When I called, I was politely greeted by their receptionist, who took all of my information, answered all of my questions, and even helped me clarify some insurance problems I was experiencing. Green flag #1. The appointment day finally rolled around, and despite my hesitation, I drove to the office ready to get my tooth pain taken care of. When I walked in the front door, I was immediately greeted by a warm, calming environment that very much felt like home and not stale and clinical like offices I had experienced in the past. Green flag #2. I was then kindly welcomed by the representative at the front desk. I don't know if this was the same woman that I had the pleasure of speaking to on the phone or not (I suspect it probably was), but she was so incredibly kind in calming my nerves and getting me situated in the waiting room. Green flag #3. My name is called within just a few minutes, and back to the chair I go, still pretty nervous. The hygienist was an absolute delight. I now understand people who say they talk to their hygienist the whole time they're in the chair, because she made me feel like I had known her my entire life and could tell her anything. She got me checked out, x-rays done, cleaned up, all with a smile on her face, thus putting a smile on mine! Green flag #4. After the hygienist was done, I finally got to meet Dr. Sarah Clark! She showed me exactly what was going on with my tooth, why it was in pain, how it looked in the x-rays, how to prevent situations such as this in the future, and what we were going to do that day to fix it. Not only did she tell me all of this in layman's terms I was sure to understand, but she allowed me to feel that I could ask her any questions I needed and that she would spend as much time as I needed to talk to me to relax me about the minor procedure I was having done. Green flag #5. As you can tell, the green flags stacked up pretty quickly. Finally, it was time to get to work and fix my tooth, which was ultimately over before I knew it! Dr. Clark was not only incredible gentle, allowing not to feel anything going on during the procedure, but she was incredibly thorough and efficient. I was in and out of the in no time and was free to go about my day, but honestly, the place was so incredibly inviting that I almost didn't want to leave, which is a stark contrast to how I felt before making the appointment. I would 100% recommend anyone in the area (or even within reasonable driving distance) to go see Dr. Clark and Southern Smiles. You may not walk in with a smile, but you'll definitely walk out with one!

We are still fairly close by, but I would drive quite a distance to continue using this as our family's dentist. Mya and Dr. Clark are both so wonderful and just a joy to be around even at the dentist office. They are also the best with my children. Both of them are very patient and accommodating to try and make sure that my children are comfortable and feel safe at the dentist instead of afraid. They do this while also providing excellent dental care! I would recommend them in place of a pediatric dentist and I am so thankful and glad that we called this dentist to set up our appointment when we first moved here a couple of years ago. May God bless them both and this practice as I know that we cannot be the only ones that feel blessed getting to go here.

This was my first appointment at southern smiles and it felt like home! Everybody was kind and welcoming! The hygienist was very sweet and gentle. I really felt really comfortable getting my teeth clean I will be back again!
