I recently visited Modern Care Dental and was apprehensive at first about the new ownership but have to say it was one of the best dental appointments of my life. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly pleasant and polite, immediately easing my anxiety. I had a deep cleaning which is never fun. The cleaning itself was comprehensive, yet comfortable. My hygienist took the time to explain what they were doing and offered useful advice for improving my at-home care. The new dentist is also excellent. She is so focused, skilled, and took her time during the final examination. She's also really personable which I love. She answered all my questions clearly and was really easy to talk to. Since the cleaning, I've even had a crown which turned out beautifully. I think this is one of the best dental offices in Chicago and I'm so happy to live close by. Just really friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

This place is absolutely FANTASTIC and I’ve been recommending it to anyone that asks. I am a pretty anxious dental patient in general but was looking to get back on track with my oral health after a long period of time. From my first appointment, these ladies immediately made me feel comfortable, taken care of, and heard. They were very forgiving of my teeth and always welcomed my questions & concerns without any judgement. The quality of care, the transparency with treatments and the amazing staff are the best I’ve ever experienced and I recommend this place to absolutely everyone.

I don't write reviews, like EVER. But I will write this as warning to anyone thinking about going here. Don't. To preface, I have been going here since the place opened. It was amazing when Dr. rezai was here and running things. Sadly, he left the city for personal reasons. My family and I saw him six months ago prior to our recent check up in Oct. Our families teeth were fine. Everything seemed fine at first. My brain didn't connect all the dots until after our check up. New staff, both in the front and back. New dentist introduced themselves. First thing that comes up is them trying to schedule a wisdom teeth pull? I have crowding on my bottom teeth but I've never had any pain. Dr. Rezai told me that I should think about it in the future, but it was never an issue. Never pushy. Suddenly, I need my wisdom teeth pulled and new fillings too? Most of which Dr. Rezai did himself previously. Now all of a sudden, they're bad? That gave me a moment of pause as the doctor showed me pictures of my fillings. I'm thinking, "okay. what do I know?" So I scheduled for new fillings. Families teeth are cleaned. We get to the front desk and they let us know we have an "outstanding balance" from our previous visit. Again, I shrugged it off not thinking about it. But after paying the balance and leaving, I talked to my wife. She says the new dentist says she needs a crown? How did we go from healthy teeth six months ago, to needing a bunch of work all of a sudden. So now I finally start connecting the dots. We're being sold services that we may not even need. I also remember we ALWAYS payed the balance at the end of our visits. My wife gets home and cancels my appointment. I payed ahead so we need a refund. It has taken two weeks. My wife has called so many times, they actually were avoiding her calls! She called twice today, no answer. I give her my phone and what do you know! They pick up. She chews them out, and rightfully so. They try to gaslight her just for trying to get a refund that should have taken no more than three business days! Nah! We are DONE with Modern Care Dental. If this place is so good, where did ALL the old staff go? Not the same. Don't waste your time.

I love coming here! Right down the street from my house. They always lead me with the best advice for my next steps. My partner also go here and he really enjoys the staff. I always feel comfortable and I don’t feel like they push you on spending money on crazy treatments.

My son had extractions done, they did an awesome job! No pain! Super fast! Heal so good! All the staff were so friendly & helped us get an appointment asap. 🙃

Dr. Rezai and his incredible staff is gone and it really shows. The front desk folks still had some familiar faces and they did great. The rest of it…I waited over an hour to be poorly positioned for an X-ray by someone who had no idea what they were doing. Sent to another tech who gave me a different X-ray but was clearly busy as hell. The dentist popped in for about 45 seconds and was so dismissive and asked me such basic questions that tells me he never even looked at my history. I thought I was there for a cleaning and instead they just wanted to quote me 7K for a new tooth. I ended up leaving before my appointment was over. I hate having my time wasted and dental care is NOT cheap. I would expect trained staff and minimal insight on my history given the extensive work done by them previous. The older Modern Care Dental is gone which is a huge bummer. Wishing the old staff all the best.

This used to be the best dental location I’ve been to! Not because they did anything revolutionary, but the people there, they were amazing humans! Looks like they hired a brand new staff, which is fine, but ownership may want to consider retraining. Had my teeth cleaned and the person kept making mistakes, dropping water on me, brushing my mouth, and missing my teeth. Maybe they’ll be better trained soon, but I’ll miss this place (what it used to be), and my amazing former dental hygienist Victoria who’s no longer there.
