I was told ny another dental group that I needed excessive work, totaling almost $8000. I came for a second opinion and Dr. Coker showed me my xrays and explained how an old filling needs to be monitored, but otherwise I have good dental health. Scary to think I would've gotten work done that I didn't need, had I not come for a second opinion. Thank you, Doctor!!! I look forward to my next cleaning 😁

So glad I found Dr. Coker and Parkway Dental after moving here from California in 2023. He and his friendly but professional staff do excellent work, and I really appreciate the ability to get an appointment - sometimes quickly. The annual plan is a really great idea!

My family moved to Cary, North Carolina, in February 1997 from Ohio. After extensive searching, my mother (RIP) settled on Dr. Coker of Parkway Dental. He has been my personal dentist for nearly three (3) decades, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the practice, services, staff, and overall quality of care. I wanted to provide some backstory to give interested or curious parties some context. It’s hard to believe how much time has passed since my first visits! Dr. Coker first began treating my teeth when I was still in middle and high school. (I had my 40th birthday a couple of weeks ago.) The fact that I still visit him should say something! The staff is genuinely courteous, kind, and professional. Dr. Coker creates an incredibly peaceful and calming atmosphere. Personally, I’ve never had issues with dental anxiety, fear, or phobia; however, I imagine Dr. Coker and Parkway Dental would rate quite highly in alleviating any apprehension or worries. As for his skill level, he is at the top of his game. I’ve seen him for everything from simple cleanings to more extensive procedures such as crowns and root canals. Unlike some disgruntled individuals who left immature and downright nasty reviews (and who, I must admit, likely exaggerated—if not outright fabricated—their tales of perceived dental misery and woe), I own up to my downfalls. As a younger man, I made some poor decisions—who hasn’t at that age? Unfortunately, some of these choices included neglecting my oral and dental health. That said, Dr. Stephen Coker gave me back my smile! All of the work looks perfect, and I honestly could not be more pleased with my results. If I were forced to choose a drawback, it might be the price—however, much of that is due to our society and the exorbitant costs associated with the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Even so, Parkway Dental has always worked with me financially; they are quite flexible and professional regarding payments and payment plans. Again, I am somewhat baffled by the two lone one-star reviews. Everything they mentioned wholly conflicts with my personal experiences over the past twenty-five years. Although it is never wise to assume, I cannot help but wonder if their reviews stem from some perceived slight. Anyway, if you reside in the Cary/Morrisville area and are looking for quality dental care, I highly recommend Dr. Stephen Coker and Parkway Dental! …they’ll leave you with a SMILE! 😁

Best dentist and office staff…ever! I love everything about this practice. Dr. Coker is amazing…kind, gentle, conservative in his approach…just a wonderfully talented and professional dentist. His staff is great. They are a solid team of ladies who have been with Dr. Coker for years. They have an extremely low employee turnover rate, which speaks volumes about the office environment. The staff knows you when you call, which is a rarity these days! Our services charged are always accurate and billed correctly. I’ve been going to their office (off Cary Pkwy near Preston) since 1995. I can give only the highest praises for this wonderful team of dedicated and caring professionals!
