Love this dentist & staff - I even got to use one of their amethyst crystals during my procedure. It helped me so much (and squeezing the assistant’s hands) 😓 I have been a patient for many years and am happy with my teeth and gum health.

Dr Zorro and her team are fantastic. Very courteous, professional, thorough and honest. Tiffany my hygienist was amazing today. She was meticulous in her work and so gentle that I could have taken a nap while she did my cleaning. She’s awesome. Smiles for health rocks…

Dr. Zorro and the whole team at Smiles for Health are the best!! They will make sure you are comfortable the entire visit and are caring. I have been seeing this dentist for years and it’s always a great experience. I recently was having some sensitivity on one of my teeth and they were able to get me in quick. So thankful to have such a good dentist!

I went to Smiles for Health when I first moved to Oceanside because I was looking for a functional, holistic dentist. Everyone there was very nice, and my initial exam went smoothly. They mentioned I had a small cavity between two molars and encouraged me to get it filled the next day. While the staff was friendly and professional, I realized afterward that their approach didn’t really align with what I expected from a true holistic dentist. Their website describes a functional, holistic focus, but in my experience, they took a more traditional approach — for example, rushing to fill a minor cavity rather than taking a more conservative or preventive path with monitoring, nutritional support, or non-fluoride alternatives. The filling appointment itself felt a bit rushed — it was the end of the day, and everyone seemed ready to wrap up. Unfortunately, I had pain in that tooth immediately afterward that never went away. Over time, it even led to jaw pain, and I later learned that the filling hadn’t bonded properly and had thrown off my bite. To be fair, I never went back to Smiles for Health to give them a chance to make it right — they likely would have — but I just didn’t feel comfortable returning. I genuinely liked the people there and think they mean well, but for anyone specifically seeking a truly holistic or functional approach, I’d suggest doing a bit more research first.

I had a great experience with Dr. Zorro’s office today. I have very sensitive teeth, but she handled everything with such care and professionalism that I felt completely at ease. Her staff is war, welcoming and made the whole visit smooth from start to finish. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was especially thorough and took the time to give me helpful tips for better oral health. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for skilled and compassionate dental team.

The dental hygienist Tiffany gave me the best deep cleaning experience I’ve ever had. That’s saying something because I have severe dental trauma. Thanks to her, I found a place where I’m comfortable and relaxed!
