Carlsbad Village Faire Dentists

This practice was a rip off. Having just moved to Carlsbad, my wife needed emergency dental work. We went to CVFD because they took our PPO insurance. On the date of service the office manager said they couldn't confirm coverage, even thought we provided the policy and asked for a large payment from us on the date of service saying we would get refunded once the insurance carrier paid them. Four months later, after being paid twice by the insurance company, CVFD refused to refund the overpayment pursuant to the EOB. We tried emailing and calling the office, but would never get a response. Finally we went into the office and the manager refused the refund even thought it was required under the policy. In contacting the insurance company, it turns out the the dentist was overpaid by the insurance company as well. The office manager told us that they had not been paid by the insurance company and yet the insurance company confirmed to me that the dentist cashed two checks from them. Just pain dishonest. This dentist group was less than honest with us and completely incompetent. Very frustrating. I would have given them 0 stars, but thats not an option.

Just had a painless easy root canal😃. Gabriel was the dental assistant and was kind, contributed greatly to a smooth and easy ( at least from my perspective) procedure, was helpful and explained all that happened. What a gem of a person!!! Thank you Gabriel, may 2026 bring you joy, laughter and adventure. Keep learning.💫

I was privileged today to have an amazing hygienist do my cleaning. With her soft touch and positive attitude it made for a wonderful experience. I know she’s going to be a great wife and mother someday.

If I could give a zero I would. Read the other bad reviews. They are all on point. This place is a scam. If your teeth are in good shape and all you need is a cleaning they will find any way to upcharge you. I have stuck it out with them for a long time and laugh it off when they give me a plan of what they want to do and decline coverage and move along with my cleaning. They will claim you have deep pockets and need gum treatments. At one point suggesting I get $13,000 worth of gum treatment LOL. I use a water pic. The next time I see a different dentist they say I have normal pockets. When I tell them what happened previous visit he was shocked. Place is just a flat out scam. They wouldnt let me get a cleaning today without checking my pockets even though they were checked 5 months prior. They wouldnt take no for an answer so I finally hit my limit with this place. Convinience was the only thing keeping me there. STAY AWAY!!!

My only issue is your phone access. I've had issues with being put on hold only to have me disconnected. Answering service tried to help but was limited in a way to do so. The dentistry has always been very good. My dentist is very good and takes the time keep me informed. I am very impressed with Dr. Davis.

I went to this dentist office yesterday and had the best Dental Hygienist ever! Baraa was excellent and did a deep cleaning which I usually cringe at but she made it an amazing experience and zero pain! Can’t beat that! I also saw Dr. Davis who was very gentle as well as informative on my needs! No upselling here! I will be using them for all of my dental needs moving forward! Honestly I wish I knew about them many years ago…would have saved me a lot of unnecessary pain and expense! 5 stars!!!

I 💙💜 💛 this dental office. Seriously everyone here is professional, kind, and caring. They all listen and never push. They are very skilled and ready to help without shame or pressure. My hygienist Baraa was AMAZING! I was dreading the deep cleaning I had scheduled with her, but she made it so comfortable. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit. Can you say that about your dentist? I never could. I am very grateful two have found this place.
