The dentist is GREAT, the endodontist, however, that I was scheduled for my root canal was RUDE and caused me A LOT OF PAIN, and just kept telling me over and over again to 'RELAX'. After numbing me, he started to drill, claiming he was 'polishing the tooth out', but the pain was so excruciating my body began to shake! Then he just walked out of the room, and I was told that the receptionist would contact me....it's Friday, 2 pm, and I'm numb and left with a rigid, painful tooth with no clue what will happen next. I do know, I will NOT return to this endodontist. VERY unprofessional, rough, and RUDE!

After searching for a good dentist in my dental plan, I was really happy after reading the reviews to come here for dental work. Sadly, I didn't have the experience everyone here seems to have had. I met with the dentist and he did an exam and I knew I needed a crown because I had had a root canal at an endodontist, and the only crown he offered me was the one that's not covered on my dental plan that would be $1,000. I told him that I wanted the ones that were covered on my dental plan and he refused. I also mentioned that I needed a cleaning and he just kind of shook his head like he didn't really even care. Because again, he knew it came for free with my dental plan. At the end of the day I wanted to feel like somebody cared about me and the services that I was getting and in my well-being because I was spending money and dental work leaves you very vulnerable because it's very painful. Sadly, I didn't feel like this dentist or front office staff really cared about me or my well-being at all. Here's the thing, a lot of these dentists say they take your dental plan just to get new customers, but really once you're in there they don't want anything to do with the dental plan, they just want to charge you full price for everything. The point of having the dental plan is to get a reduced price on services, but they don't want anything to do with that. I immediately called the dental plan, told them what happened, they were very surprised and I switched dentists.

It’s always hard to find a good dentist someone who can make you feel like family is patient and really looks out for your personal needs! My Dr. was super sweet and patient and really helped me along my nerves as I needed a crown and I’ve never had one before. Kathy is always so amazing and comforting as well as everyone else that works there! I’m thankful for them as they also helped me with my finances. My experience overall was just amazing!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could.

One of the best and most honest dentists I’ve been to! From my wisdom teeth to routine cleanings they are always transparent and looking out for my health and preferences. The front staff is always accommodating and realistic while the doctor is always genuine and informed. I actually left another local dentist to come here after they told my my previous dentist was overcharging me for specific services. Would definitely recommend Midtown Dental to anyone who’s looking for a dentist or even considering switching from their own.
