The staff was all so very friendly and informational. Face to face service is rare these days and I so appreciated the service with a smile. The Dental exam and service recommendations were so detailed explained and up front reasons and cost. They provided options that would fit what works for my schedule. I would recommend this dental office for any dental needs and the best is all services are done within the same location.

100% satisfied with my experience here at Buena Park Dental Center. I’ve had fillings and an implant done. All with no issues. The hygienist is quite thorough and friendly. I hate going to the dentist in general but this place makes me keep want to keep my appointments and scheduled cleanings!

This is going to be long, because there is a lot to say. I've been going there for a little over *three months straight* now, about once every 2 to 2.5 weeks, because I had a lot of work to be done and they only wanted to do one or two things a visit. Because of this I've garnered a lot of insight into the goings-on and have feedback. This dentistry has a serious overbooking issue, and a large communication disconnect. Dr. Fahmy is a kind person if you are as well, but she overworks herself because of how many people she's *constantly* bouncing between. Every visit, whenever I would see her, she's usually juggling like 2 to 3 patients at a time. Because of this, I would specifically recommend making an appointment as early in the day as is reasonable if you do decide to go here. Three times I've seen her in the P.M.s, and every time she was exhausted, and I could tell that it significantly impacted the quality of her work. One of my inlays cracked and I have a feeling it was because she ground it too thin on one side- I do not grind my teeth, never have, and I had only been eating soft foods. During my last visit a patient who was called in at 1 left at ~1:23 because I heard her say "I can't wait for the doctor anymore." (I was also waiting and was called back @1:25 for my appt at 1) If you have more than two or three things that need to be done, you'll need to schedule multiple visits. I had to schedule 6 separate visits because she only had time to do one thing between patients a few times or she didn't want to numb both sides of my mouth at the same time. It would have been even more visits if I didn't finally ask them to do more a time. On a tangentially related note to communication, for the most egregious visit, I arrived for my 12:00 appt 5 mins early and wasn't shown back until ~1:10. I legit thought they forgot about me because I was the only person sitting there in the lobby for 30+ minutes. Turns out they had an emergency walk in, but no one ever told me anything so I had no idea what was going on. After I was finally seated, an assistant came in another 10ish minutes later for a quick X-ray, left, then I was left waiting for another *30-40 minutes*. Dr. Fahmy came in, numbed me, told me everyone else was on lunch so we would have up wait a little longer, left for another 10 to 15ish minutes, then finally came back to begin work. I ended up finally leaving at 3. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning (that I had to make another appt for because they forgot my first visit) was really sweet and very professional. I would have no issue going back for a cleaning. It is difficult, however, to recommend this establishment for anything other than a cleaning. It's nearly always overcrowded, the wait to be seen is, on average, 15-20mins after your appointment, and it feels like Dr. Fahmy is almost always overworking herself. I've never even been there on a weekend, but I would expect it to be even more busy.

Do not go here. Got my braces off here in 2023 and they did not fix any of my alignment issues and did not even attempt to fix my bite. I had to get another set of braces with another orthodontist and the results were so much better. Don’t know if much has changed but safe to say it was a big waste of time and money. There are so many better orthodontists in the area.

Great front desk. Melissa handles all calls great and I love that they call next day to check in how patients are doing after treatment. Dr. Peter Zakhary is great about hearing patient concerns and addressing them, as well as educating. All dental assistants and hygienist that have treated me are professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location
