Brentwood Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the dental services I received. Despite scheduling a free consultation for dentures, I was billed $1301 for a cleaning and exam that did not happen. The staff had explicitly stated that the consultation was complimentary. If I hadn't opened the bill, I would have been deceived. Although they reversed the charges after I called and had to argue with the ladys about everything, they still charged my insurance $48. Their response to my query was that it's 'free to you, but not the insurance,' which I find unacceptable. We have canceled our appointment and found a more professional and caring dentist who honored their free consultation. I seen your responds i don't know what you like to talk about myself and my husband didn't feel comfortable here the staff is rude. We should of know once they kept calling 2 times a day to move the appointment time up because they had other clients cancele after telling you once that the earlier times didn't work that should of been enough but no you guys kept calling even told us if we don't move the appointment it will be canceled to me that is so rude and unprofessional. And then you changed for survives we didn't even have like really. You can remove the $48 from the billing and honor what you told myself and my sister in-law who also talked to you prior to making the appointment. As for using your services we will not be as first impression say a lot. We have found another place who honors they're free consultation and has compassion shows kindness not being rushed or lied to us

First off, I just wanna thank everyone at Brentwood Smiles! The whole team has always been nice over the last few years that Ive been coming. Kandis, Brisa, and Cassidy at the front are so kind. Brittany, and Nancy are the best assistants! Rebecca does amazing cleanings, and Dr. Patel is one of the most gentle dentists ive ever had! Thank you ladies for being so nice and helping with my train wreck you called "teeth." I refuse to go anywhere else to get work done. Everyone from Brentwood smiles has set the highest bar in my opinion!

Their staff makes you feel very welcome as soon as you walk in the door they welcome you in. Every person I came in contact with was friendly and makes you feel welcome starting with x-ray's, then your dental exam with Dr. Patel. She explained everything she was doing and what needed to be done. On my visit having my teeth extracted, Dr. Oz and his staff was very kind and patient. They talk to you and make sure you feel comfortable. Thank you! I really appreciate your kindness.

I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE A 0 IF I COULD!!!!!! I went in for what was supposed to be a routine cleaning, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I have never had issues with my teeth, and I’ve actually been to this same dentist before, where I was told everything looked fine and I was able to get my cleaning with no problem. This time, the X-rays showed my teeth were completely fine, and the staff honestly seemed disappointed that nothing was wrong. Despite that, they immediately started pushing unnecessary services and tried to charge me around $3,000. During the exam, the dentist poked my gums so hard that they started bleeding and then claimed I had early gum disease because of the bleeding. That didn’t make sense to me at all, since the bleeding only happened after she aggressively poked my gums, and I’ve never been told I had gum disease before. To make matters worse, I didn’t even receive my cleaning. I was told I couldn’t get a regular cleaning unless I agreed to the additional services they were pushing. I went in expecting a simple appointment and left without the service I scheduled, feeling pressured, uncomfortable, and frustrated. This visit felt very money-driven rather than patient-focused. Based on the drastic difference from my previous visit, I won’t be returning and would not recommend this office to anyone looking for an honest, straightforward dental experience.

I've been a patient at this place for a couple of years. The clinical care itself is acceptable nothing exceptional, but generally adequate for routine needs. The front desk, however, is consistently unwelcoming. The staff almost always look irritated or unhappy, and every interaction feels tense and unfriendly. If the team is under so much pressure that they can’t even manage basic courtesy, that’s a problem that needs fixing both for them and for patients. I expect better customer service from any healthcare provider. Because of this, I’m switching to a different dentist where the front office doesn’t make visits feel uncomfortable.

Im putting 5 so everybody can see this and save yourself a headache. 1. Cost me almost 2 hours for this regular dental visit. Kept waiting all the time. Arrive 12:15 and left almost 2pm 2. They Polish my teeth for less than 5 minutes which is probably proper. 3. Seen by a new Dentist and did all the upsell, 2 crowns and 2 refilling as her advised which my previous dentist never mentioned. 4. They try to send me home without getting dental cleaning. I Complain about this so Dental hygienist came by and she was done in less than 5 minutes on cleaning my teeth. Never clean in between bridge, mostly clean only the front portion of my teeth. 5. Very Poor service compare from the previous visit. 6. Called the next day (1/20/26) and spoke to assistant office manager name Lily, She said they were busy at that day. She mentioned I decline some service,which is not true. She offered to redo my cleaning but heck no I refused because of their poor service. I demanded to her not to charge my Dental insurance so I can go to another clinic, she said she will do what she can but still ended up getting charge on my dental insurance, that is why Im writing this review. Look at their chair at the waiting area, and then think what more the inside area. Hope they change those once they read this.

Staff is so understanding when I need to reschedule apt due to work craziness. Recently had a filling done and was so fast and painless! I barely felt the shot and I heard that was the worst part, thank you for the steady hand! I was really nervous but they made it a pleasant experience. Thank you for all that you do!
