Dr. John Montoya and his team at Boulder Dental Designs are absolutely wonderful! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The office is clean, modern, and equipped with impressive new technology. I was honestly surprised (in the best way!) that I was able to get my crown the same day as my initial appointment — such a huge convenience. The team makes the whole experience fun and comfortable, and even the chairs are super comfortable. You can really tell they care about their patients and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend Dr. Montoya and his amazing team!

Dr. Montoya and his team were fantastic. After finding out that I had sleep problems, I went to looking for solutions. For me the best option was to find a night appliance to wear to address my sleep apnea symptoms. Dr. Montoya was highly effective at helping to identify and create the ideal splint for me. He was able to test the quality of my airway and how the device would change my breathing to find the optimal solution. His testing was effective and the appliance has been well tolerated. My sleep has improved and I have Dr. Montoya and his team to thank for my improved sleep. I highly recommend him and his team.

I've used Boulder Dental Designs for many years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I no longer have to depend on Delta Dental (or God forbid) one of the corporate rip-offs like Blue Cross, Cigna or United Healthcare for my dental insurance. BDD insures me for a reasonable monthly payment, I always know what my coverage is - and - I know they actually give a damn about me. I particularly enjoyed their new hygienist, Rachel, yesterday and look forward to seeing her again in 2026.

Darcy was my dental hygienist and she was excellent. She gave me a lot of valuable information re the care of my teeth and was very focused on the cleaning of my teeth which I liked very much.

Dr Montoya and his entire team are outstanding, kind, professionals that we have grown to trust like family. The office is very accommodating and always provides expert care and advice. Our family appreciates the full service Dr. Montoya’s team provides. Our son’s mouth was teeny tiny and we started an expansion retainer at a young age. He is 11 years old and halfway through Braces, all of his adult teeth fit and he has a big huge smile!

Went in for an emergency appointment. Dr. Montoya was complete doing a 360 scan on my mouth area. He even texted my periodontist with concerns about my jaw. He has great instrumentation and does high quality work. Never disappoints. I have going to him since he started his practice in Boulder.

Dr. Montoya has been my dentist for a few years now. I am very happy with his efficiency and chairside manner 🙂 The office in general is pleasant and well organized. Having crowns made in the office and done in one day is awesome. I highly recommend him.
