The office is very neat and clean. The staffs are very friendly. Dr Othman is very patient and trustworthy, which made me feel comfortable to undergo a small surgery procedure without planning in advance.

If you need a new dentist, this office is great. Doctor Virwani is very kind, smart and takes time to speak with her patients. Monika, the dental assistant who took care of was wonderful as well. All of the staff are very friendly. I felt well taken care of! Definitely recommend!!

The clinical team here is phenomenal. I truly cannot emphasize this enough. However the front desk, administrative, and billing teams leave much to be desired with regard to setting financial expectations for services. A quintessential example of how standards in health/dental care administration are rapidly in decline. Five stars for the clinicians, minus four for everyone else. I advise treading lightly when seeking services here. Procedures that were indicated to be "100% covered" by my dental plan, (even after asking to double check) were then billed to me for nearly their full cost. As a result of this, a crown that was due for placement was essentially held hostage from me until I was forced to enroll with their third party loan service to pay for the services and make monthly payments. I am normally not one who is compelled to write a negative review like this, but my interactions with the administrative teams about these issues were totally unacceptable. I highly suggest seeking dental care elsewhere if you expect any transparency with regard to how you will be billed. Gentle Dental West Roxbury, if you see this, please try to do better for your patient base. Otherwise it will likely wither.

Dr Al-Khafaji is the best dentist I have ever seen. He has a wealth of expertise from extensive training. He has excellent, compassionated bedside manner and sees you as a whole patient, not just a dental patient. He was so thoughtful with his evaluation and honest about the next steps for my care. His office staff is so wonderful and efficient with billing. There is also parking!

I’m always happy enough with the work of gentle dental, but they could use a little more customer service. I’ve never had the same person twice even if I go to the same place for years. Sometimes the dentist doesn’t even introduce themselves. They just Walk into the room and stick things in your mouth.
