Bellingham Dental Group

It’s been about a year since I stopped going to BDG after 2 years of going there. My second visit was a giant red flag and I should have stopped going then, but unfortunately I was limited as far as dental groups that take my insurance. I had a tooth removed and despite not drinking from a straw and being a non-smoker, I ended up with terrible dry socket. The pain was excruciating. I called the emergency line that is offered when you call BDG as it was done on a Friday and the dry socket developed on the weekend. None of the dentist responded to my voicemails. I eventually called a different Bellingham Dental office and got their voicemail and then called their emergency line and they were kind enough to give me advice on how I could treat the pain. When I did eventually go back to see them, They didn’t really have a good excuse as to why they didn’t ever call me back and then she gave me some mouthwash to help and wanted to charge me for it. This is only the beginning. The next appointment I had, I had a root canal. When I arrived, they informed me that a dentist in training would be doing my root canal. Would have been nice to know before I arrived for my appointment. I the had another dental appointment Where a crown was put on. The crown fell off only a couple months later and when I came to get it put back on, because I saved it they tried to charge me for putting it back on. I refused. For whatever reason I went one more time to have Cavities filled. They quoted me (can’t remember the exact amount), but it was approximately $300. I paid half the amount then and then they said they would bill my insurance and let me know When I would pay the other half. I then received an email from them saying that I owed them $800. I called because this was shocking to me and they informed me that they no longer took my insurance and that’s why the cost was so high. I refuse to pay this because they had quoted me much less. I talked to someone there and they agreed to not charge me the 800 and to just charge me what they had quoted me, But only because I fought them on it. I never went back again. I would avoid them at all cost.

This was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had! The dental assistant, Bryn, was very professional and friendly, explaining everything she was doing. Dr Haley was very thorough in his exam. He was very informative and so kindly and patiently answered all of my questions (and I had a lot). Natalie and Kelsey were super helpful trying hard to figure out my HSA card and correct things with the transaction vendor. Great job everyone! I will definitely be back!

Bellingham Dental Group was great — professional, efficient, and very welcoming. Amber was especially awesome: super kind, patient, and made the whole visit easy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Always great care! Incredibly helpful, supportive and understanding. As a person who has always needed a lot of dental work and support, I am very pleased. I have been coming here for six years now and I feel following the recommendations of the team has truly helped prevent a lot more work that would have been needed if i didn't have them and follow through. These are simple recommendations like flossing processes and brushing timing that have saved me from fillings and more deep cleanings. LOVE THIS TEAM!

The staff is very friendly. They have a lot of great technology to help see issues and set up a good plan of action for each person. You do see a different dentist just about every time you go in, which I don't prefer, but every dentist I have met has been very nice and seems knowledgeable. They are quick to book mew apps for any issues that they find, but also are willing to work at your pace if it's not urgent/emergency.

Finding that they offered emergency tooth extraction I called and was given an appointment within hours of my request. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and doctors. Their concern for my comfort during the procedure was very much welcomed. I appreciate being welcomed as a new patient.

This is by far the best dentist office I’ve been to. Super friendly staff, wonderful service, great experience! I usually don’t like my dental visits but this was so refreshing. I was treated so well and felt so good about my decision to go here! Also shout out to the dental assistant Alysse! She was so kind and made me feel at ease! Just the way she treated me would make me return! In all, this place is the best of the best!
