Dr. Kim is truly amazing. I have significant dental anxiety and, because of that, I had gone to the same dentist back home for most of my life. When I had an urgent dental issue several months ago and couldn’t get to my parents, the front desk was incredibly understanding and helpful and scheduled me an appointment with Dr. Kim. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, checking in with me at every step and being extremely respectful of the challenges I face at the dentist. Ms. Stephanie was also wonderful—so kind and helpful with the financial aspects. When I unexpectedly burst into tears, she handled it with the perfect balance of care, respect, and reassurance. I even trusted their recommendation for a teeth cleaning—WOW. I have never felt so calm and at ease during a cleaning before. Everyone at the Arlington office is truly AMAZING. I am fully transitioned to VA Dental Center as my dentist. Thank you, Dr. Kim, Ms. Stephanie, and everyone who helped me!

I had an excellent experience. The staff was warm and professional from the moment I walked in, and the entire process was smooth and comfortable. I came in for a filling on my front teeth, the color match and shape are perfect, and you can’t even tell any work was done. I’m very satisfied with the outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone looking for high-quality dental work.

Found these guys in my area from a simple Google search after my dentist of 20 yrs was retiring. Very happy since. Really great, friendly staff. Also, we’re very gentle and considerate of my teeth. Highly recommend if you need a reliable dental service.

All five members of our family, ranging in age from 10 to 78, use Virginia Dental Center, and all five of us have been very happy with our experiences with several of their dentists. This is a highly professional operation, with a great staff. So far, we have hit only one small bump. It involved scheduling a complex procedure and in that case treatment coordinator Stephanie Bullock jumped in and would not rest until the problem was solved.

I had an emergency and the staff, assistants, and dentists were all amazing!! Stephanie the coordinator got me in quickly and was so helpful over the phone. Kimmie the dental assistant was so kind, gentle, and fast. Dr Kim saw me right away and fixed my problem immediately. He was very gentle and patient and explained everything to me with great detail. I have been to many dental offices in the past few years and this is the most efficient, cleanest, and well run office I have been to. I will be returning as a regular patient for many years to come!

I’ve been going to Virginia Dental Center since 2019, and my husband does too. Dr. Amy Hassan is an excellent dentist—she’s highly skilled, thorough, and always takes the time to explain what she’s doing so I feel confident in her care. She makes visits comfortable and never rushed, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about her patients. The hygienists do a great job with cleanings, the staff is friendly and professional, and appointments always run efficiently (usually under 45 minutes for a routine visit). The location is also very convenient. I’d highly recommend Dr. Hassan and Virginia Dental Center to anyone in the area.
