Shirin has a warm personality and a calming presence that makes the entire appointment smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and the pride she takes in her work. Dr. Akmal was incredible! He explained my options clearly allowing me to make an informed and educated decision. He perform the procedure with ease and no pain. His staff was also very polite and helpful. They explained the bill and potential changes as transparent as possible.

I cannot recommend Virginia Dental Care enough. They are the best place for general dentistry, periodontal care and cosmetic procedures. As a general dental practice, they are a great place to have your bi-annual teeth cleanings. Their hygienists are well-trained, friendly and efficient and you never have to wait long to see the dentist. As a periodontal office, I couldn't be happier with the surgical procedure I received. Dr. Akmal is an extremely trustworthy periodonist that did a large grafting procedure for me. The recovery period was quick and the results were better than I hoped. I experienced no complications and they provided all the information and medication I would need post-surgery. Finally, they are also a great dental office for cosmetic procedures like in-office whitening. They offer a great bundle deal for the in-office whitening treatment and at-home treatment with a custom-made tray. The results have been phenomenal. There is limited paid street parking and paid garage parking in the surrounding area. The office is accessible to wheelchairs.
