Newmarket Dentistry

My family and I had been going here my entire life since I was a child, longtime patients of the Freeds. Never had any issues. Within the past few years of their new ownership I have experienced the worst costumer service of my life. The female receptionist is consistently rude and unprofessional. She is argumentative and ill-mannered, beyond unhelpful. Because of this my entire family has left this practice. Even now at my new practice I am still having to deal with this as she refused to release my records to them and was completely disagreeable to them on the phone. I’ve never been compelled to write a review until now. So sad that this is the person representing Newmarket.

This place is so different under its new ownership. In our family 3 of us have left the practice because it's impossible to schedule with them. They canceled my cleaning twice and then wanted to reschedule 4 months out! They don't keep any slots open for flexibility including when they are the one canceling. Their office staff is not friendly or apologetic about it either. We miss the Freeds.

Staff capable and friendly and Dr. Ahmed charming and professional. After decades of seeing Dr Barbara Freed I was prepared to be critical of someone new but found myself totally reassured that I am still going to get the very best care and treatment. It was a totally positive experience - thank you.

Chelsea is a terrific hygienist. She is skilled and communicative, and I felt I was in good hands. This was my first time with her after having another hygienist for 20 years. Thank you!

I've been a dental patient for about six years. First class office - very well managed. Both Dr. Barbara and Dr. Gordon Freed are high integrity, highly skilled and caring people. All the staff associated with them are excellent. 6/6/2023 Dr Ahmed who bought the practice is an excellent dentist. He kept the team who worked for Drs. Gordon and Dr. Barbara. It's a welcoming harmonious office. 6/17/24 I just had two crowns installed by Dr. Ahmed. The steps he and his team took to complete this were the most thorough of any dentist I've ever worked with.
