Dental Care of Alexandria & McLean in Alexandria

The doctor seems knowledgeable; however they are very disorganized and provided very little confidence in their ability to do simple tasks like properly scheduling me or even knowing where I am while I am within their offices. The first time I checked in and then they took me to another office. The doctor seemed great and offered some valuable insight. When I got out I had voicemails saying I left without making a payment. It wasn't that big of a deal. So I made another appointment. This time, they scheduled me at 430pm and the place closes at 5pm... So I came in, sat, waited, and the doctor couldn't see me. He could not do anything at all because. Y the time he got to me it was 445pm. That was extremely irritating as I left work early. Unfortunately I have to change doctors because I simply do not trust they have an effective customer service system to make appointments and track patients.

During the recent snowstorm this past weekend, I found myself in need of dental care as soon as possible. I called the Dental Care of Alexandria office early Monday morning to set an appointment. The representative inquired about my pain level, expressed concern about my dental issue, and made an appointment for the following day. (Since almost all of the roads in Alexandria were impassable, making travel unsafe, the office was closed Monday.) When I arrived Tuesday the office staff was receptive, the dental assistant was well-prepared, and Dr. Naimee was reassuring while identifying the cause of the issue and taking immediate steps to resolve my concern. I was extremely stressed upon my arrival to the office, but I left the office feeling confident and calm knowing my issue received excellent attention and resolution. I am extremely pleased with the services the staff at Dental Care of Alexandria provided me, especially Dr. Naimee, and I highly recommend their practice.

I have been using Dental Care of McLean for many years, but recently moved to Alexandria and started with the Alexandria location this week. The dentist was amicable, knowledgeable, and had a great bedside manner. The hygienist was also quite good for the cleaning. However, I was disappointed with the dental assistant. He tried repeatedly to get X-rays done and he was unable to do so. I finally stopped him, since it was painful and futile I have a small mouth and bony protrusion in lower part of my mouth that requires additional time and accommodation. I explained this in advance to the hygienist but she left him alone to try. So, he was on his own and seemed to feel it was my fault He should have requested assistance but failed to do so. This is why I’m not giving a 5 star review. Overall a good experience.

Talk about a life saver!!! I developed a terribly painful abscessed tooth while visiting my daughter. The worst part was having to fly two days later! I called them and they gave me an emergency appointment immediately! Dr. Don explained I needed a root canal and if you have ever had one you know what all that is about. I can’t thank him (and the kind staff) enough! He did an awesome job, he was very thorough, empathetic and I left the practice feeling so so thankful. To add to it, his charges were very reasonable! Thank you!

I lived down the street and was a patient for five years. In 2017 we moved to Silver Spring, MD. There are probably hundreds of dentists between me and this practice, and, yet, I STILL come to this practice. I love the experienced doctors and their candor/humor. 100% worth the drive.

I had a wonderful experience at the Dental Clinic of Alexandria. The staff was great, and Dr. Naimee, who treated my teeth, was phenomenal. He’s not only a highly skilled professional but also has a great sense of humor, which really helped me feel comfortable. Throughout the procedure, he kept checking on me, which made me feel safe and at ease. Dr. Naimee truly has golden hands. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

I have been a patient of this office for quite some time and always had a very satisfying and very professional experience. My recent visit today wasn’t any different. The hygienist Kristinella was very focused and gentle. She did an excellent job and I truly appreciate her professionalism.
