Been going to Blessed Smiles in Alexandria VA, for 5+ years. The place is always brimming with a dedicated staff: from the courteous and friendly receptionists, to the expert insurance claim filers, to the multiple competent hygienists. My family’s personal dentist is Dr. Aileen Kim who is the dynamo of the operation: she’s a high energy professional, continously expanding her knowledge and craft, leading a dedicated & diligent support staff, and employing the latest dental tech equipment and software. Having done a range of dental work at Blessed Smiles (Porcelain crown, gold crowns, one implant + one restoration of a 20-year old implant) with Dr. Kim and Dr. Goldin, I can say without reservations, that I am so glad I made the switch, after 20 years at a DC dental office, to Blessed Smiles in Alexandria. I post this review on the eve of Thanksgiving 2025, in appreciation of my experience with Dr. Kim and the entire team at Blessed Smiles.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Aileen Chyn Kim and I cannot recommend her enough. She truly went above and beyond during my visit. I came in needing pain of 3 months after two other dentist touching my teeth with no relief. She Completed a crown,and not only did she handle the entire procedure with exceptional skill and care, but she also took the time to walk me through a detailed treatment plan for my teeth complete with images and clear explanations that helped me fully understand what was going on. What stood out the most was how much she genuinely cared about my comfort and well being. Her priority wasn’t money; it was making sure my pain went away and that I felt supported every step of the way. It’s rare to find a dentist who treats you like a person first and a patient second, but Dr. Aileen Chyn Kim does exactly that. If you’re looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and truly invested in your dental health Dr. Aileen Chyn Kim is the one. I’m incredibly grateful for her dedication and the outstanding care I received. And her stuff was above and beyond helpful with excellent communication and customer service

The team at Blessed Smiles were able to see me same day for an emergency crown repair. During the initial consult with Dr Nam, I knew I would be in good hands. He and Yaya were very efficient and able to do the repair and also squeeze in a cleaning between. Only regret I have was neglecting my teeth for so long, but I trust I’ll be taken care of here.

Blessed Smiles is a truly special five star dentistry practice. Dr Kim has created an inviting, comfortable and professional atmosphere for patients. Front desk staff are welcoming and courteous: facilities are always clean and comfortable; ceiling TVs provide a relaxing and convenient distraction! Practice has expanded and grown over the years. Great team of doctors, admin staff, dental assistants and hygienists (Rachel is my favorite!). Overall I recommend this practice for your dental needs. I’m grateful and blessed to have found them 8 years ago!

Blessed Smiles has been my dentistry for many years now. I have had other dentists before but now I can truly say "I love going to the dentist!" You are blessed with a super friendly atmosphere, state of the art equipment/ technology and a very caring staff! They take the time to explain your dental procedures. From the front door to the dentist chair, you leave feeling like you’ve had a wonderful experience. Yes, I highly recommend!!! ❤️
