I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of care from a dental practice before. Alexandria Old Town Dental goes above and beyond in every way. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is warm, welcoming, dedicated, and incredibly professional. You can truly feel how much they care about their patients. A special shout out to Dr. Peper, Mahlet, and Nakaya, you all made the experience exceptional and put me completely at ease. This is hands down my new forever dentist. Highly recommend!

In November I had to come to Old Town Dental for emergency tooth pain. Dr. Goldhush was able to see me next day, and outlined what needed done and suggested options. Had to go to a surgeon for procedure but the one she recommended was great! Have been back for additional work and every visit is great! She and her hygienists and assistants are incredible and the care and patience is great, would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Peper and all of the staff at Alexandria Old Town Dental are absolutely incredible. I cannot speak their praises enough. They are knowledgable, caring, and attentive. I suffered from headaches for years (often so bad that I would experience vomiting and need at least a day/night of bed rest). I would get them every 2 weeks or so and I was growing quite hopeless that I would ever figure out a way to help (trying medication, physical therapy, doctors, etc.) Dr. Peper created a custom mouth guard for me and I have only experienced two mild headaches in the seven months since I received the guard. The change is unbelievable! Alexandria Old Town Dental truly changed my life because they gave me the ability to be pain free. When there was a chip in the mouth guard, they saw me right away and sanded it down. They continue to provide excellent care and help. I am so incredibly grateful to them. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience with Dr. Peper. He is extremely knowledgeable and very attentive, taking the time to really listen and understand my concerns. He explains everything clearly and thoroughly, which made me feel comfortable and confident in the treatment plan. He always looks for the best possible solutions rather than rushing decisions. I highly recommend him and will definitely be returning for future visits.

Cannot say enough positive things about this office. Every person I interacted with was extremely friendly. The facility was immaculate. Dr. Killough was wonderful and very personable. Never thought getting a dental cleaning and some fillings could be so pleasant. Would highly recommend!

I went in for service back in September. The person in the office submitted the wrong claim to my insurance for a routine covered exam and a balance became due. I started receiving notices in the mail. I reached out to my insurance company and they worked with the dental office to fix the error and pay the bill. However, months later I am still getting bills in the mail and phone calls from the dental office demanding I pay the bill....a bill which both insurance and the dental office said was satisfied months ago. Very shady business dealings and do not recommend them at all. They will try to get money from your insurance and you, and wont respond when you continue to reach out to them about it.

The dentists, assistants, and hygienists at this office are all super kind and great at their jobs. Unfortunately, my experience with billing and pricing has been consistently frustrating and concerning. They have tried to charge me for fluoride treatments I did not receive, overcharged for regular services (with refunds issued as account credits rather than returned to my card?), and most recently gave inconsistent pricing for a Botox promotion. Before booking, I was told on the phone that the price was $10 per unit. At the office, I was told $14 per unit. When presented with the treatment plan, after sitting in the patient chair for an hour, the listed price was $19 per unit. When I questioned this, I was met with attitude by the office manager. And for what it’s worth, $19 per unit minus the advertised $4 discount equals $15 per unit, which is in line with the typical market rate in this area and not really a promotional price. I really like the providers here, but the repeated billing issues and lack of pricing transparency have made the experience extremely frustrating.
