SEPHORA at Kohl's

Sooo, I go in to pick up an order that placed online, and the email I recieved only had the order number and different advertisements for their products. I showed a girl the email and she asked if there was a barcode. I said no, this is all that's in that email. She asked if I had my ID, I did not. That's on me for leaving it in my car. Another employee said that if there is no barcode, I at least need my ID. Alright, fair, I went back out to get it. When I came back, however, ANOTHER employee that I spoke to said that nothing can be done without a barcode. Told her, well, one of your coworkers said that if I don't have a barcode, I can use my ID. She said it messes with their system. I responded with well I have my ID, the order number and I can tell you exactly what I bought. One item. Again, she needed the barcode. Then she began arguing with the employee who said I could use my ID, all the while another employee (one who I consider the VIP in this story) simply asks for my ID, looks at my ID, goes to the back and finds my friggin order. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she was awesome. To her, I send thanks.

Sales associate with long dark hair asked me if I wanted help, I said yes. When it came to helping me though, the only "help" she offered is that I shouldn’t come back. She was facing the wall while talking to me trying to dismantle something on the wall. I’m sure that was super important but that isn’t how you treat customers. She didn’t ask any questions. She did not try to steer me to other products when they didn’t have what I wanted. She told me about a product that she knew nothing about except that it isn’t available until Christmas. She ended our weird interaction by telling me, (in a snooty voice) they are different from the full size stores, to which I responded, I could tell.

Awesome experience with Dariana. I didnt know how to color match. She took her time to show me the differences. She blended and even did a great up sale. She showed me the brush she used. Very knowledgeable about the products and what look they can give you. I went in for foundation and came out with a foundation brush and concealer. I went home recommending her to my family. Loved my experience. Definitely going back and so will my family. Very great asset to your company Sephora. 5 stars just for that alone.

Dariana is so rude. This sales lady got rude when I didn’t want to put all my information for points. She was nice at first until I declined. I told her I wasn’t going to take what I had taken up because she was rude. She grabbed the stuff I had on the counter and tossed it. I won’t be back here again.

I was in there earlier today feeling very down about getting a shade match for the Lancôme foundation since I was so lost. Fortunately a very nice employee Edith helped me find my shade and helped me with primer tips she even gave me some samples for other primers. Edith was so nice and helpful 10/10 experience today!
