I have been shopping at Powell's since my early 20's. I'm now 66 yrs old. In a word - consistency. In customer service, prices, value for your dollar, knowledgeable, personable. They are the complete package, the REAL DEAL. I appreciate the people. For those who believe that customer service is dead, go to Powell's. You'll be pleasantly surprised, your faith restored. I gave them 5-out-of-5 stars only because that's the only option given. Honestly, I'd give them 10-out-of-10. Thank you for your years of quality service in the community! ⭐👍⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Purchased some hair grease to moisturize my scalp. Powell's has a lot of hair care products for African American hair. They also have curling irons, shampoo's, conditioners, creams and butters for skin, hair cutting scissors, hair dye, perms, hair wraps, du-rags, braiding hair, weaving hair. Give them a try. Visit the store. They have friendly service and knowledgeable staff. They also cater to beauticians and salon shops as well. Give them a call.

As I have done all my life I continue to really enjoy my experience shopping at Powell's Beauty. I will travel miles pass up all the other black beauty supply stores. Just to arrive, shop and enjoy this l family owned friendly helpful business. As always, 👍🏿👍🏿 for me.

The hair product selection is excellent, and the staff is both personable and the pricing is reasonable. I particularly appreciate the "Lock in Shine" product line, and the conditioners effectively soften and manage my hair, serving as an excellent detangler when removing braids. However, I was recently disappointed to discover that the neutralizing shampoo lacks a color alert feature, especially since I have resumed relaxing my hair. Despite this, I intend to continue utilizing their other product offerings.

Good customer service. Powell's had all the items I was looking for, their prices are competitive, staff were knowledgeable and helpful and I felt like my business was appreciated. I highly recommend.
