Miniso

What a fun little shop added to the many things in the Prasada Center. Miniso is a great spot for gifts if you know someone who loves Hello Kitty, Disney, Anime and more. You can find stationary here and even cosmetics. I was surprised to see some pretty interesting snacks and drinks as well. We tried the Wagyu Beef Pringles and they were so good ha ha . I loved the T-shirt wall that so many cute graphic tees for under $10. The official grand opening is Saturday so some items didn’t have prices up yet but staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. They offer a loyalty program with a number for discounts and birthday item. Prices were fair. Cute store. I can see it being pretty popular once everyone realizes it’s here.

The store itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s so spacious and nice to be able to shop at Miniso without feeling like everyone is right on top of you. The layout and atmosphere are definitely a highlight. Also, why do we have to ask an employee to check the price on everything??? That said, the customer service feels a bit inconsistent when you do have to ask for a price check. Half of the staff is super friendly and welcoming, while the other half seems disengaged and not very open to being approached. I also noticed an employee wearing grey sweatpants two weeks ago, which felt a bit unprofessional for a retail environment. Shows me you don’t want to be there. Presentation matters, and it does impact the overall impression of the store. It may be something worth reviewing to ensure the customer experience feels consistent across the board. Overall, the store itself is great I’d just love to see the service and professionalism match how beautiful the space is as well as a price scanning machine in store would be nice

Environment has open space and is wheelchair accessible. Isles can be maneuvered through with easy. Environment is kept and tidy. There are very few items that include prices. Some items sell for a fair amount others seem to be expensive and can be purchased cheaper online (i looked while I was there). Additionally, when a customer wants to know the price of something staff request the item be brought to the counter and scanned. Please note, if an item is incorrectly priced on the floor they will not honor the price listed on the floor, they will go by what the item scans for. The staff will not request an employee to check the floor price, they will simply state they only honor what is being scanned. Lastly, multiple staff were asked questions by various customers and the staff appeared confused, uninformed and annoyed. Their demeanor was off putting. Would pass on visiting this store. Overall not the best experience and there are more mom and pop type of stores in the valley that offer the same items at more decent pricing and approachable staff.

Yay finally a Miniso in Surprise. It's about time they get something like this in this area. Been to so many Miniso in the US and outside of the US. I am very surprised how great this location is. It's big and bright. So many fun and cute products to choose from. The employees were very welcoming and nice. Hopefully this location doesn't get ruined. Highly recommend!

BYOB bring your own bag! I'm so glad this store is in Surprise! They have a wide variety of items including blind boxes, beauty, t-shirts, food and drinks. A lot of things don't have a price, so when you're ready to check out, ask what the price is and decide if you want it or not.

The workers are very friendly and it is a huge store. They have all types of Japanese/Korean snacks, toys, skincare, perfume, keychains, etc. They also had the famous Korean banana milk! It was tempting to buy everything. It is PERFECT if you’re looking for gifts for friends. I only wish they had price tags everywhere…sometimes I couldn’t tell the price of an item which was inconvenient.

0 stars. I wanted to like this store, but shopping here turned into a mission. over 80% of the items had no prices on them. Why would I grab things when I have no idea how much they cost? Staff said they can price check, but that means standing in a massive line just to find out prices for basically everything The line wrapped through the entire store, and there was only one cashier for most of the time. A second person eventually came to help, but only after people had been waiting forever. Then at checkout, I was told they don’t provide bags unless you pay, supposedly because they’re a "California company." To top it off, they wouldn’t accept a $100 bill unless the purchase was at least $75. My total was $65, so apparently my money wasn’t good enough. No warning posted nothing. Between missing prices, long lines, lack of checkout help, refusing legal tender, and charging for bags, I finally gave up and left everything behind. Shopping shouldn’t feel this frustrating. Way more effort than it’s worth.
