Hanel Korean hair salon

I've been going to Hanel Hair Salon for years now, and I can honestly say she's the best hairdresser I've ever had. She's based in Sunnyvale, and it's more than worth the trip every single time. Her attention to detail, skill, and consistency are top tier. I get both haircuts and perms done here, and she always does an outstanding job. I look fantastic all the time because of her. She's professional, friendly, and clearly takes pride in her work. I was so impressed with her that I recommended her to my wife—and now she won’t go to anyone else either. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality hair care and great service. Thanks for always taking care of us!

60s-era interior... It's a hair salon you'd expect to find in the 60s. They charge more than the ridiculous Beverly hills haircut price. Never go there. Worst experience in my life

Chanel was very sweet & friendly and I love how my hair turned out! I showed her a photo of the haircut and color I wanted and she did an amazing job with both haircut and coloring. The price was very reasonable and relatively cheap compared to other Korean salons in Sunnyvale. 10/10 would recommend and will visit again!

Chanel is amazing. She did my boyfriend's haircut within 30 minutes and it looks great. Great customer service too, we'll come back for sure!

I have never heard of a Japanese "ghetto" hair stylist... but this is pretty close. now look here people ; She overcharges, by doing work you don't want done even if you ask. Then fakes a stronger accent as if she can't speak English. You go in expecting to pay no more than $100 and walk out paying over $200. To me, she does not seem honest and she seems know it. her work suffers for it as well. She looks well aware she is ripping you off. It's all an act!

Asked for a quote on highlighting. Owner said $130. I agreed. Then she dyed my whole head and highlighted it. I asked her not to blow dry and style so I coukd save money. She did it anyway and then charged me $250. When I complained, she took off $20. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Chanara is great! My hair looks an feels wonderful every time.
