If I could give them a zero, I would. They are all rude, associates on the floor and those checking out. I went back after two days to exchange items, per the store policy, after I realized the afro kinky hair was absolute garbage. The store does not allow refunds and only exchanges within 3 days. Associate 2 behind the cash register immediately started speaking fast and aggressive in Spanish. Associate 1 softly told her, she can exchange", Associate 2 responded in English "make sure check it." This store has been like this for years, I forgot. But they reminded me. They will never get my money again. We really need to be mindful of where we put our energy/money.

I visit the store and wanted to purchase a wig but couldn't try it on. Who buys a wig without seeing how it looks? Then if you purchase it and you don't like it you can't return it. That's totally nonsensical! Obviously a man made this decision.

Very nice people with lovely attitude in the front part of the store, and so nasty people in the hair section. I would never go to the hair section there.

its cool until you get to the part where they have the wigs, that one old lady is lowkey rude. when i saw her talking to another customer she seemed friendly, then to me and my mom acted weird. i had a lipgloss but i gave it to my mom and the lady asked me about the lipgloss like i was finna steal a 2 dollar lipgloss..

I’ve been a patron of this business for as many years as they have been open. Everyone who works there may not know my name, but they certainly know my face. I went in this evening to exchange the hair color I purchased 3 weeks ago. I inadvertently grabbed the wrong color. I no longer had the receipt, but I figured it shouldn’t be a problem because it would be an even exchange…plus they know me, or so I thought. I approached the register and asked the Asian lady behind the counter if I could make the exchange. She asked if I had the receipt, and I told her I did not. She began to examine the box and she could see that it was unopened. I sensed her hesitation, and I didn’t really want any hassle over a $7 box of hair color. I told her no worries and that I would just purchase another box. I made my way over to the aisle that the hair color was in, and grabbed another box of the correct color. Meanwhile she said something to the Asian gentleman who was there and he grabbed the hair color out of my hand and yelled that it was his! I was stunned like what is your problem? I told him that I’m going to purchase it. He made the assumption that I was going to walk out with the hair color. He totally disrespected me and made an assumption that was completely false. I told him that I would never purchase anything from that store again. He did apologize, but it was too late. The damage was done. I told him I accepted his apology, but I can no longer patronize his business and God Bless him. I will not give my money to a business that does not respect me.

These people are the ABSOLUTE worse! They dont care about the customers and always stare you down like you are going to steal. Why should I spend my money when you dont trust me?? Id eather go to urban beauty supply on Castleton ave. They treat you like a human and work with you. I will never return.

The store has a wide range of hair and beauty products. The staff there are knowledgeable will take their time to help you find something or help you decide between hair, and educate you on hair products and hair pieces. It’s always clean, and the environment is very welcoming. I recommend everyone come here for their hair and beauty needs.
