Laika Beauty Company, nestled just steps away from Forsyth Park, is very much the latter—elegant, welcoming, and quietly special. From the moment you walk in, Laika Beauty Company feels thoughtfully curated without ever feeling intimidating. The space is refined yet warm, with a calm, intentional energy that immediately puts you at ease. Even as someone who doesn’t typically shop in boutiques—and as a male customer who doesn’t often browse beauty spaces—I felt genuinely welcomed, never out of place. Much of that warmth comes from the owner herself. She is a remarkably sweet and accommodating woman whose background in the film industry, particularly in makeup, brings a level of professionalism and artistry that is palpable the moment you speak with her. There’s an ease to her presence—knowledgeable without being overwhelming, attentive without being pushy. You can tell she cares deeply, not just about her craft, but about people. Her approach feels personal and sincere. She takes the time to explain, to listen, and to meet you exactly where you are, regardless of whether you’re a seasoned beauty enthusiast or someone simply curious. That kind of grace and openness is rare, and it elevates the entire experience. While I didn’t make a purchase this visit, it’s the kind of place that leaves an impression—and I fully expect I’ll return for something in the future. Lalka Beauty Co is a little GEM of Savannah! Dawn, the owner, is such a wealth of knowledge for skincare and makeup with such expertise in the business. I trust in any product she recommends and love shopping here when I pass through town. Love even more that they have an online store where I can buy beauty products from abroad from a trusted source!

Adorable store with two amazing women who are super helpful while you shop. They have everything from skin care to hair products to headbands, plus jewelry, hand bags, and everything in between. The prices are totally reasonable. Lalka, the store name, means baby in polish - and the owner’s grandma used to call her Lalka when she was younger - so it’s in her honor they chose the name. There is a beautiful image of her late grandma on the wall. So sweet! Couldn’t recommend it enough!! ❤️

This store is a MUST VISIT when you are traveling to Savannah. I had so much fun browsing Dawn’s shop and talking with her while on my trip back in March. I bought quite a few things while visiting. Unfortunately for me, I lost a ring I bought from her shop while traveling to Chicago in May. I called Dawn to see about ordering another one and having it shipped to me and she was so so sweet and I’m incredibly grateful for how easy this process was. I’m absolutely in love with the atmosphere and customer service Dawn provides and will continue to shop with her for my needs, even if I’m states away. 🙂

I stumbled upon this little boutique in Savannah while wandering around, and I’m so glad I did! The shop itself is adorable, filled with beautiful jewelry, stylish bags, and a cozy charm that immediately draws you in. What really made the experience special was the staff. The ladies, who are retired makeup artists, gave me their full attention and helped me pick out a blush that looked gorgeous on my skin. They even applied it for me, offered tips, and sent me home with free samples. It felt like such a personalized experience, and I left not only with a product I love but also with a smile on my face. A hidden gem worth visiting!
