Ulta Beauty

If there’s one place I expect to not be stalked by a creepy man, it’s a beauty store. Unfortunately, the only employee who paid any attention to me was the security guard who followed me around, even running at me when I was leaning over trying a tester. Sorry not sorry for not looking like your "standard" customer. But don’t worry, I’ll never cross your threshold again. Never again. Should have taken a video of the dude following me. Literally non stop. Already regretting giving them any money. So who knows, maybe I WILL return, to return the items and get my money back.

Floor prices are not current, my total went up $15 from when I grabbed my items to when I got to the register. Also got asked 5 times if I needed any help over the span of maybe 20 minutes which got to be very irritating when I was just browsing the after Christmas sales for nothing in particular. Maybe the check out line wouldn’t stretch to the back of the store if employees spent less time harassing paying customers and more time checking them out 🤷‍♀️ but what do I know. The only reason I go here is because santa fe doesn’t have a full size Sephora and the personnel make it such an uncomfortable experience every time. From the multitude of security lurking around every corner to the same associates interrupting your shopping experience every 5 minutes I don’t see the point of having an in person store if you have this little trust in your clientele. I come here to spend money and for some reason they make it so hard to.

I've always loved Ulta and the people in the salon are amazing. I just recently got my hair done by Victoria and she did an amazing job. And I will definitely be going back to her. She did an amazing job with my daughter's hair as well.

Helpful staff, clean & organized shelves. Only downside is occasionally they are not fully stocked and you have to order online. Otherwise a great store.

Cashiers and employees were lovely but the security officer was glaring at me and my husband the entire time we walked through and even after we paid for our items, presumably because we were wearing masks. Some of us have health issues- we didn't even have a bag or anything suspicious with us- not even a purse. Left quickly without buying as much as I intended because he made me so uncomfortable. As someone else who has worked in security for 6 years including loss prevention, that was a bit too much. His angry glare was all we thought about after.

I was at Ultra today with my daughter and son. I was in there for about 45 minutes getting the makeup I needed. While I was there I got asked more than 10 times if I was ok or if I needed anything. While I got followed pretty much the whole time I was in there. I spend more $200 in Ulta. I understand when an employee is trying to see if need help but when you do it more than 10x It felt like harassment

I just moved to Santa Fe and was looking for a reasonably priced salon that could get me in right away. I made the mistake of going to the JC penny salon and my stylist did not listen to a word I said. I wanted a platinum money piece with one subtle streak of auburn. I got a very stripy copper red and platinum money piece. I was absolutely livid. Classic case of a stylist not listening to me and just doing what they wanted. I tried to get used to it but couldn’t. Today I called Ulta and explained what happened. Victoria said to come right over and she’d see what she could do. She was honest about what the color would look like if we lightened it. I decided to move forward. And she worked a miracle on my hair! I’m so grateful I called and she fit me in! She is truly a magician with color. Thank you so much to Victoria and Ulta for not making me live with something I hated. I will be back!
