Massive selection of food, drinks, toys, household items and beauty products from Japan. The place was fairly busy, but the line at the register was short. I got a few small items. I really liked the reusable bags they give you. I would like to go back and get some more of the beverages. I wish they had freshly prepared foods, but still worth a trip.

Omg...what an awesome store. We spent hours here just walking around looking at all the cool stuff. It's an amazing experience. We started a new collection of jars for our kitchen spices. We bought an air freshener for our car that actually works and lasts a whole month. We tried pizza and pickle flavored chips, that was an experience. We tried ice cream from Japan, yummmmm. The only turn off was the staff, very rude, barely spoke to you, they seemed annoyed that you were buying things. It almost made us feel as if we didn't want to come back. We went to the Vietnamese bakery next door, what an awesome place.

Second time at Teso Life and once again… this place is dangerous 😅 Every time I come in it’s packed, and now I get why. They’ve got snacks, drinks, plushies, blind boxes, collectibles, skincare, and all kinds of cool finds you don’t see everywhere else. Big surprise this visit: they sell imported beers AND sake 🍺🍶 I grabbed Lucky Dog IPA and Flying IPA and both were super smooth. Lucky Dog is hoppy but easy to drink, while Flying IPA brings a stronger hop kick when you’re in that mood. Definitely my new go-to spot for grabbing a beer on the go. They also had a Hefeweizen and a Red Ale I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure those will be just as good. Shoutout to the Lemon Slice Soda 🍋 My spouse is pregnant and wanted something refreshing and not sweet — this one nailed it. Light, crisp, and it actually has a fresh lemon slice inside. She grabbed it to help with burping and I ended up finishing it because it was that good 😂 Pregnancy-approved ✔️ I also grabbed a couple Pringles flavors I’ve never seen before and can’t wait to try them. Brought my two girl cousins with me and they loved it — left with plush figures and some self-care goodies (they have a LOT of options). They keep some of the good collectibles behind the counter 👀 and I’m definitely coming back to pick up a Gundam kit. Pro tip: go when they open or early Sunday morning if you want to avoid crowds. Great spot for kids and adults alike — just be ready to spend more than you planned 😄

Sometimes there is a wait to get in to this store during the busy times but not always. I've been 3 times so far since they opened. They have a good mix of items much like an HEB where you can buy groceries and kitchenware at the same time. What sets the store apart is the toy and gift area. I loved looking at all of the miniature houses and craft sets. My son wants the train bookends for Christmas. Lots of Japanese brand Lego sets. Plenty of interesting things to look at. The grocery items are not cheap and many English equivalent items are cheaper but if you're specifically trying to find a Japanese brand item, this is the place to find it. Not necessarily a lot of healthy ingredient items but for a hard to find fun food it might be here. Definitely worth a trip. Be prepared for a relatively long checkout line even during the slower times.

Ahhhh this place is dope on a rope. So many cool collectibles and labubu-like figurine mystery boxes. Pretty sure they have Labubus too. They have really decently priced decorative puzzles and book nooks. Inexpensive Chinese Lego sets. Gundam sets (at the prices you'd expect Gundam to be though). They also have a big Warhammer model for sale too. Hello kitty and pokemon themed products galore. They have snacks like Japanese Kit Kats, dried squid, even those crunchy little dried crabs, Japanese sodas and jelly drinks, ice creams plus so much more. So many neat Korean and Japanese beauty products and medicines, tons of housewares, air fresheners, you name it. They even have fifis! Lol. It's a vibe for sure. You won't leave without finding something you like/want.

If you're in San Antonio and craving a taste of Korea or Japan, Teso Life is your new go-to destination. This store is a sensory overload in the best way possible — massive, sleek, and pulsing with the hottest K-pop hits while you shop. From the moment you walk in, you're transported straight into the vibrant setting of a Tokyo street market with the added flair of a Seoul convenience store. Whether you're hunting for sweet, savory, or downright quirky, Teso Life has it all. Think rare chips, fizzy drinks, ramen varieties you’ve never seen before, and candies that look too cute to eat — all imported directly from Korea and Japan. Anime fans, rejoice. They’ve got merch and goodies featuring Pokémon, Naruto, Gundam (seriously, they have gundam models stocked throughout the walls for anyone looking to build their first mech and get into gunpla), and even Doraemon — the gadget cat from the future. It’s like walking through a pop culture museum with shelves you can actually shop from. The store layout is spacious and modern, making it easy to explore every aisle. And the music? Straight fire — the best K-pop tracks set the mood while you browse such as BTS and ITZY. It’s not just shopping, it’s an experience. Whether you're a seasoned J-culture enthusiast or just curious, one trip to Teso Life and you’ll be hooked. It’s the perfect spot to discover new favorites, stock up on imports, and vibe out to some great tunes. Trust me — after one visit, you’ll be all about that Teso Life in San Antonio.

Great place to find a great variety of Asian foods, snacks, toiletries, toys, ice-cream and many other items! Was lucky enough to be there, when the ice cream was in stock! Tried the mango, peach and strawberry, the mango was our favorite!
