Mousy

I called Sephora ahead of time and asked if they carried a brand a foundation and instead of looking themselves or knowing off the top of their head they told me to go on the website to see if they had that brand in store. I felt like the service was lazy but I decided to still go in person to see if they had the brand in store. I'm 23, single mom of a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old, my grandma passed away today it's Christmas Eve and I have no help as far as anyone to watch my kids. I took my kids inside with me and while I was being helped by an associate, my daughter was playing by the window in my line of vision where I could see her, only maybe 15 ft away from me. A man who I later found out was the associate manager told me that my kid can't be playing here and I told him I figured her being by the window would be better than her playing in the lipsticks and I apologize and told my daughter to come next to me. My daughter went back to the window where there were Christmas themed stickers and she was touching them and he said to me "I'm not here to watch your kids". This is by far the worst customer experience I've ever had to deal with in my life. I never asked him to watch my kids I'm watching my kids and she's not doing anything wrong. As a single mother with no help to feel like my kids were not wanted there I felt very hurt. I should have taken my business elsewhere and I encourage other single moms to do so and find a beauty shop that will not have a problem with your kids being there. This information is irrelevant but he was gay and I'm sure kids is the last thing he wants to deal with but being that he was in customer service I absolutely was not expecting that from him. I told the manager at the front which was a lady with blonde hair and she assured me that she would handle it and I told her I will not be returning to the store at this location or any other location since this is how there staff treat people (single moms/children). You had to be there to understand I just hope someone sees this from HR.

Shopped there yesterday there I looked for the first employee in sight she was an older woman with a men’s haircut she was extremely rude she was chatting it up with another I stood in front of her. She never acknowledged me and continued to chat with the other employee, I had to wait for her to acknowledge me after 5 minutes I looked for someone else. Next time I see her I’ll make sure she knows she should not be in the customer service industry.

I was assisted by Aiman Abdul Hakeem in Bentonville store and she was soooo wonderful and kind. She picked the perfect options for me. She was patient and wasnt in rush. I loved speaking to her. Wonderful human and amazing knowledge!! Cannot recommend her enough. Go and ask for her

This Sephora has a huge amount of items and they had the hourglass concealer i have been looking for in multiple different Sephora’s around the tristate area. I’d recommend it over all the other Sephora’s nearby because Pinnacle hills has the largest selection and great workers. I don’t see why there are any bad reviews on the people who work here because everyone kept going out of their way to help us when needed.

This is definitely the best Sephora store in NWA to go to for makeup and beauty products! It is a stand alone store and located in the Pinnacle Mall. It is huge and well stocked but ALWAYS busy with long lines (so be prepared to wait and deal with crowds)! However, this is the only Sephora I will go to b/c of the great selection and samples/testers. I have had bad luck at all the other Sephora stores inside of Kohls and JcPennys with barely any stock and never any of the promo items and birthday gifts, but this one is great. Be sure to sign up for their rewards to get free shipping, samples, and birthday gifts.

This was by far the most uncomfortable and disappointing experience I have ever had in any store. I visited with my baby and my husband, who is a person of color, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated differently. The staff stared at us and followed us around the store the entire time, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. When I asked one of the associates for help finding a lip liner to pair with a specific lip gloss, she dismissively told me to "go check the Sephora Collection in that corner." She did not walk me over, provide any recommendations, or show me higher-quality options—she simply suggested the cheapest product while keeping her attention fixed on my husband rather than assisting me. It was also very clear that one of the employees was deliberately monitoring him: whenever my husband walked over to where I was, she would move from one aisle to another to continue watching him. At checkout, the experience only worsened. The cashier was extremely rude when I inquired about my birthday gift. I asked if I could see the available options to get an idea of their size, but she refused and responded in a short, standoffish manner. Her tone and attitude made it clear she did not want to help us. Throughout our visit, we were repeatedly asked if we needed help to an overwhelming and excessive degree, further adding to the feeling that we were being profiled rather than genuinely assisted. The treatment we received was demeaning and unprofessional, and it is clear to me that my family was a target of racial profiling during this visit. I have never experienced this kind of behavior at any other Sephora location, but this experience has ensured that I will not be returning. Sephora has lost me as a customer, and I feel it is important to bring attention to the unacceptable and discriminatory treatment we faced.

I had the worst experience here and I have literally never had a bad Sephora experience before. They’re usually too good. I walked in looking for one specific thing and I had to get the attention of a blonde woman with short hair and she told me to go "straight back to the hair wall" for help where I waited for 20 minutes and no one helped me. The hair wall is next to the break room so I cried for help from another blonde woman on her way there who gave me the nastiest look and never helped me. Finally Lily came out of the break room and actually helped me. Thanks, Lily. I was shopping with a friend and we used some supplies at the front and we were told that we weren’t allowed to use supplies from that area by the same short-haired blonde woman who never helped me. I’ve seriously never been so disgusted with Sephora staff ever. We both spent over $300 despite the nasty staff. I’m from out of town and will literally never come back here. Thank God for Ulta.
