Miriam assisted us and was incredibly knowledgeable—we absolutely loved her! She gave amazing suggestions and took the time to help us find the perfect tones for foundation, concealer, contour, blush, bronzer, and even the ideal setting spray. She made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend asking for her!

This is my new favorite Ulta. I went in there looking for a foundation match and all the workers were so sweet and helpful. Janet helped me with my shade match and even told me tips on how to apply my foundation better overall. She even recommended me products within my budget. If anyone ever needs a shade match or makeup application help, I’d recommend asking for her.

Went to Ulta for the first time, and didn't know where to start. Then I saw Benji, and asked him 101 questions and he was so amazing! He helped me and my mom get the perfect products for each others needs and explained everything thoroughly. What a pleasant shopping experience!! HIGHLY recommend to go to Benji, great attitude and so helpful!

I keep giving this store changes to improve. I’m done. I hadn’t been to the store in months. Just went today and was, yet again, followed around by employees as if I was shoplifting. They kept asking over and over if I needed "help" or "a bag." I had two small items in my hands—NO I DID NOT NEED A BAG!!! HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO ASK ME IF I NEED HELP. I’m a grown adult— If I needed help, I would ask. I felt SO uncomfortable. It really ruins the shopping experience. I put down all of the items I was prepared to buy, informed the manager about my experience and walked out the store. Ulta lost a sale today and I hope other black women will see this and boycott Ulta moving forward. A racist company doesn’t deserve our money. This is why I prefer Sephora. I will spend my money elsewhere. I will literally order the items online directly from the merchant rather than come to this BS. No other store treats me this way.

I don’t usually write reviews but today I got my haircut with Emalea! She was so warm and kind and made me feel so welcome and excited to get my first haircut at Ulta! She did an AMAZING job and left me feeling so happy with my layers. I don’t usually know who to trust with my hair, but Emalea made me feel so comfortable and welcomed all my questions. She’s extremely knowledgeable and wonderful! Would highly recommend her to anyone 🩷

Staff were friendly. Only came to get my baby niece’s ear pierced. Piercer sighed and seemed very apathetic when we told her we had an appointment for the baby. She just handed us the earrings chart and told us to choose what earrings we wanted. We got a bad feeling and didn’t feel comfortable to proceed. We ended up going to Rowan Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg. A bit on the pricer side but you know what they say, you pay well for good service.

I would visit this location, the Latina women that work here are rude and unresourceful. I came in hoping to take advantage of a Olaplex gift with a purchase of $100 shampoo and conditioner. When I realized this was not included, I questioned the cashier and she stated she did not know anything about this promotion. After pulling this up on the website she stated it was for a mini and not the actual size and that they no longer had this product. Imagine my surprise since this information was not specified on the website. These women are prejudice. And it’s just not environment I would return to. Maybe hire a more diverse staff. She clearly did not want me to benefit. Rude would not return when to Sephora more sophisticated and you don’t feel like you spent good money in a cheap environment.
