There was absolutely zero customer service. I came in with my 11 year old daughter and got the cold shoulder accompanied with "She’s going to steal stuff" looks. Come on guys… Who’s going to ever feel welcome at your store with no help offered, plus a bad attitude? At this point, I’m never going to Sephora again. I have also been in the customer service industry my whole life, I have never felt so disrespected in store.
I always shop at this location because it’s the most convenient for me, close to both my job and home. Today, I was looking for the Rare Beauty mini perfume set. There were none on display, so I asked a staff member with red hair for help. She went to the stockroom and brought one for me, which I appreciated. However, while checking out, I asked if I could see the perfume to make sure it wasn’t too small I had only seen it on TikTok and wanted to see it in person. When I tried to hold it, she wouldn’t let go and kept a very tight grip on it. This made me feel uncomfortable, as it seemed like she might think I would run off with it, even though that wasn’t my intention. I couldn’t see her name because her ID was worn backwards, otherwise I would have mentioned it. Overall, while the assistance was helpful in finding the item, the interaction during checkout made me feel uneasy.
8/9/25 Around 4pm the girls didn’t greet me. They didn’t ask if I needed help finding my shade. There were 3 young girls just talking behind the register the whole time. One of them was on her phone showing a TikTok.
Came in on a Thursday around 4pm and asked for help for the young girls working. Got about 4 words of help before they went back to giggling passing a phone back and forth talking very loudly right in front of me. Very unprofessional to be messing around with your friend on the floor in front of a customer that’s seeking help.
The ladies are always helpful and pleasant! I’ve had difficulty picking a foundation shade and was offered three different samples to try, which I didn’t even know that was an option! I’ve returned two high-end expensive foundations with no questions asked when the one young lady offered samples. Very helpful and knowledgeable.
Probably the worst Sephora experience I've ever had. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. No basic customer service skills. I told the girl working that I would like to purchase a specific perfume. Fragrances are 20% off right now. First she asked if I had a beauty insider account, I said I do, she asked for my email and I asked if I could give her my phone number instead, and she dryly responded "what's your email." So I gave her my email, then she starts asking for phone number, birthday, full name, so I said "oh I already have a beauty insider account..." and she said this was actually to sign me up for Kohl's rewards... I don't want a Kohl's rewards account, I've literally never shopped at Kohl's in my life. I thought it was a little weird that she'd try to sign me up without telling me what she was doing. She finished the transaction and when I got home and looked at the receipt, I realized she not only grabbed the wrong perfume but she also didn't give me 20% off even though I saw the person in front of me in line get the discount. I'll give two stars instead of one because at least the store was cleaner and had more items in stock than the old Sephora that was inside JC Pennys. I'll never come back here though, I'd rather shop online.
This is the worst location! The service is so awful and they just stare at you when you ask a question about the products THEY SELL
