I had the BEST experience at Coral Story Beauty with Morningdove. I went in to get foundation, blush, bronzer and lip for my upcoming wedding. I received Morningdove's undivided attention and care. I left feeling beautiful and excited to use the products I purchased. I felt no pressure to get anything and she really gave me the time and attention to help find the best products for me. Her energy was warm and welcoming and I look forward to going back.

I am so grateful to have this shop exist let alone in my SE neighborhood! Love being able to shop clean beauty products (like my favorite Nopalera body scrub) locally instead of online. 🧖‍♀️

Making time to shop at Coral Story during a recent trip to Portland is one of the best retail decisions I’ve ever made! The owner of the store is lovely and knows her products, so shopping with her is a great experience. She made fun, thoughtful, and practical recommendations while still giving me plenty of time and space to browse comfortably. I had such a great time that I plan to shop Coral Story online regularly, until I’m able to visit in Portland again.

Run don’t walk - Coral Story is the best green beauty store. I have been following owner Morning Dove’s advice for years and my skin glows. She carries products across a range of prices and is always happy to listen to what you are looking for and provide suggestions. It is also awesome for small gifts and stocking stuffers. I read her single less than five star review about not doing returns - they have always been more than happy to provide a sample of anything you are on the fence about. I once had several samples of deodorant 🤣

So grateful for the friendly and nonjudgmental help choosing a new foundation (that for the first time I don’t dread putting on in the morning)! Highly recommend swinging into this locally owned shop for cosmetics and body care products.

I went in today as a total makeup layman and Kylie was able to help me pick out exactly what I was looking for without even having the words to describe it! I am so pleased, what a lovely shop full of beautiful healthy products and kind, patient staff. Can't wait to go back for more.
