Aesop West End

Hello, I have to share a story about Emmie that works at the Portland, Oregon Store. Yesterday (December 1st) I wandered into Aēsop to smell and be around beautiful things. My dad has been in the hospital for a month, I’ve been staying in a hotel with my dog, his dog and my sister. To say it’s been challenging is an understatement. Emmie suggested I wash my hands and try a hand balm. She helped select a great scent I loved for both the hand wash and lotion. When I was leaving, she asked if I liked the hand balm, I said yes. She then grabbed one and handed it to me and told me I deserved to take care of myself. I cannot express how much her kindness meant to me. I’m spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted. I haven’t thought about myself in weeks, the reminder from Emmie that I matter truly touched me. Emmie is such a kind young lady. Thank you for your kindness.

Products I’ve used are great I love the Fabulous Face Oil & I just purchased the face wash. Also huge fan of Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque, clay mask that will help with pores. Staff is friendly & helpful.

Unbelievably beautiful fragrances. Your senses deserve some Aesop. It's a lovely shopping experience as well. The staff is very attentive.

As a new customer to Aesop I was impressed with the presentation of this location and how everyone is knowledgeable about the products. They even offer you water and make you feel treated. Lenee is warm and welcoming and so is everyone else I’ve interacted with here. Love all around!

This was my first time visiting this store, I had heard that Aesop products were amazing so I wanted to test them out. The staff are attentive and try their best to help you out. I wanted a new hand cream and so they recommended a couple body balms. They have a sink with a whole bunch of tester products to try out and clean white towels to dry your hands. There’s also infused water available while you shop. When you purchase anything, they’ll give your stuff in a small canvas baggie and spritz a scent onto the bag. Makes me feel extra fancy!

Especially if you love the brand and the power of scentology then you'll love the store. Nice and helpful team, too! Easy access, but parking is limited, just like all of downtown Portland. I usually shop at the University Village store in Seattle but I do love not paying extra tax in Portland.

A Karen who I assume is the manager rudely tried to stop my boyfriend from washing his hands at the sink that’s meant for customer use? Because they’re trying to save water? Completely changed demeanor when realizing we’re both there to make a purchase and all of a sudden didn’t care about the water anymore 😂
