I had purchased 100 of 1000s of dollars at ulta and never had been though what i went though today at the colonada location i had made a cash purchased of morphe powered i jad bought the weong color i returned it and got a different color on 24th street and baseline taken it in mind I paid cash I took to ulta in 20th street and Camelback to return it . They would.not give me cash back at all even though my receipt said cash something about the return receipt. Idk I have never ever had this problem before ever so I wanted how I paid cash back the cor didn't work for me. They would not give cash back end up putting on my car and it will not be back on my card until next week . This is the worse customer service ever I have never paid cash for something and returned it and told I could not get cash back. O jave contacted thw better business bureau and Federal trade commission you are not supposed to be treated rhis way after being a faithful customer it make not to ever want to go back to this store ever
If I could I would leave zero stars. I had a really disappointing experience with an employee at this Ulta. The hair stylist at the beauty salon. I went in around 4pm today Sunday, she had a hostile attitude and was very rude when I asked for help. Instead of being friendly or professional, she acted irritated and dismissive, which made the whole shopping experience uncomfortable. Customer service is important, especially in a beauty store where people come to feel good. I hope management addresses this because it left a bad impression.
Cashiers are always kind to me. The short blonde woman who worked in skin care lied and boasted knowledge she did not have as well as brushed me off when I didn’t purchase her upsell. Said neutrogena was cruelty free, and said certain products were made incorrectly (ordinary AHA/BHA) despite Derms and aestheticians say other wise. As well as said the Good Molecules was ineffective while ignoring the fact I said ‘this works well for my partners extremely sensitive skin.’ When I went to ask a question about the free gifts and how they worked, She shooed me with her hand and said cashiers will answer that. Stay away from her, she will push you in the wrong direction and even lie to make a sale, then treat you rudely if you don’t take the sale. Get what you need and go.
If i could rate this store a zero, I would. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at this location. I typically shop at Ulta on a regular basis. The manager was incredibly arrogant and disrespectful to me and my sisters. She scoffed at us, talked over us, and refused to provide a refund for the awful service her "master stylist"provided. If you want a haircut from Ulta, do not choose this location. Horrible management, corporate will be hearing from me.
The women there was festive because of Halloween and when asked about product they all were very knowledgeable and had pleasant jokes and made this lady that look like she was having a bad day laugh. If you don't go there to buy go to be entertained. I enjoyed it.
I have been to this Ulta a couple of times and the staff is quite particular. Employee Megan never seems to know where anything in the store is at, although she is the manager!?? Also seems to me she is lazy and does not want to do her job, on multiple occasions I’ve asked her for help and she always hands me off to another employee and leaves me waiting 10 minutes until they come as she stands there on her phone. Other employees always seem to know where everything is located. As the manager you should be setting an example to your employees! Not the other way around, do better Megan.
(Response to owner from prior review for Jennifer Lindsey because he/she is wrong ) Your reply claiming a phone number (or email) is required for a return is false and zero truth to it. The link you shared btw goes only to Ulta’s homepage — not to any policy supporting your claim. If you truly believe it’s required, provide an official link or screenshot that explicitly states this. Which you won’t be able to do because I had my legal advisor review it before we went to Ulta legal with this concern so you should probably learn your policy and get your facts straight Let’s be clear: your register may PROMPT for a phone number, but that doesn’t make it company policy. I’ve confirmed this directly with Ulta’s legal and guest services teams — neither supports your claim. If a customer has a receipt AND valid ID, the return can be processed. No phone number. No email. Frankly, it’s embarrassing to see you respond without accurate details. Stop making up interpretations and start following factual policy. I’m attaching Ulta’s legal team’s email confirming this so you guys may want to get an alignment. The professional thing to do would be to acknowledge the mistake and commit to fixing it. (Original review) At checkout I was told I couldn’t return items without giving a phone number, which is simply false. A receipt is sufficient—as confirmed by Ulta’s official policy , and my own receipt, which makes no mention of a phone number mandate. When I pointed this out, the cashier proceeded to lecture me that that’s their policy, and the manager I later called repeated the same incorrect information. Allow me to post your policy for reference Staff—including managers—should be properly trained. Demanding personal contact info is misleading, invasive, and rude. Not everyone can provide personal details, and that should be respected. The cashier was rude, she gave me attitude when I questioned why a phone number is needed to return a item when I have a receipt and basically gave me the cold shoulder and that’s not how you treat customer who almost dropped $200
