Renee did such an amazing job with my hair!! I have paid 3x this at other salons and not been nearly as satisfied. She was kind, quick, efficient, and lovely to chat with! Would HIGHLY recommend her over any of the overpriced salons in Petaluma!!

Nicely organized Ulta Beauty store. There are makeup consultants on hand to help out. The store carries cosmetics and skincare brands, men's and women's fragrances, nail products, bath and body products, beauty tools and haircare products. Basically tons of beauty stuff! (It's inside the Target complex right off the East Washington St. freeway exit). There's also a random Tesla charging station in the parking lot.

The workers at the front on 12/21 were insanely bitter. We all have worked customer service during the holidays but they were being rude/yelling for no reason. Nothing is that serious. Will be going to Sephora

Walked in went to cosmetics. No one offered to help right away, usually they’re asking the second you walk in. Got someone’s attention, explained that I wanted to start all over with cosmetics so show me everything you have, from foundation to primer, concealer, eye shadow, all of it! I wanted someone to show me all they had to offer and I told her what I needed in general. She was distracted, matched foundation, and asked if I wanted to purchase it, so yes ok but what about everything else, asked repeatedly what else did I need? Then she pawned me off on another person for concealer, who gives me a "aging is beautiful and we shouldn’t be hard on ourselves" "we’re all beautiful " ok yeah weird and awkward. Then off we go to the budget section to look for eye pencils, etc. I’m over it now, no connection…I mean, aren’t they supposed to be skilled at their jobs to help you do makeup? Especially if I want to start over and purchase all new makeup. I would have spent whatever it cost if they actually helped me, and advised me what would work best. I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to Google everything, that’s why I went in person. Never again. It was truly an awful experience and I won’t be going to the Petaluma Ulta again. Or any Ulta for that matter. Disappointing.

So I know the holidays can have everyone on high alert for theft. I 100% understand. I know I’m not exactly a put together person. Just stopped at river town feed and then Ulta to grab a few last minute gifts and a few things I needed for myself. It was cold and rainy so I wore boots, jeans, and an oversized jacket. (My mistake) I was asked if I needed anything every 5 minutes by the same woman. She lingered and made things awkward and uncomfortable. I’m sure she had the best intentions but I felt like I had to explain myself. I had wandered around the store just looking for things I thought my girlfriends would like but felt like I was being circled by the employees. I gathered my things, checked out, and left. Didn’t get nearly half of the goodies that I really wanted to. Hopefully it’s different after the holidays.

Had many weird and unprofessional experience here. My friend and I came to shop here and we literally saw a group of employees talking shi about their coworker. It was insane but we continued to shop. There’s this one particular employee who makes faces and give bad customer service everytime I see her there. Another bad experience I had was when I asked for help with a shade match and other products. They had me jumping around with employees not knowing who was gonna help me since they had this event and were very busy. I get it but then this employee asked me "You wanted this brand right" and was about to test them on me. I said no that’s not what I was looking for. She looked at me confused. At that point I was frustrated since I was there for minutes and my friend was waiting outside for me. I just left. Also, I understand theft been going around but they kept asking this girl with a backpack if she needed help every minute. I believe she just came out from school that’s why she had a backpack. She seemed uncomfortable and confused. Yet, there’s other employees who are very helpful and nice when I ask for help.

I came in looking for Concealer, primer, and lip liner everything seemed to be fine a woman mid weight short brown hair helped but then as soon as she saw me and my friends together looking for the items we wanted SHE and another worker with a brunette ponytail assumed we were about to steal. We heard them speaking terribly of us saying we were about to steal and to follow us around the whole store. This felt like racial profiling. I usually hate to write reviews like these but this customer service was not it. This inconvenience made me and my friends very uncomfortable. Walked in the store and immediately profiled as bad people but in the end we DID IN FACT end up paying for our own items with OUR own money. Workers need to do better and stop profiling everybody that walks in. Just because we don’t look like social expectation of rich and nicely dressed DOES not mean we have trashy personalities. Please fix this. I will be going to other locations if this is not fixed. Just because we are high schoolers does not mean we would steal. Worker also said to call security as soon as something was fishy.
