Luminous Skin Studio

I'd give Rachel 10 stars if I could. Her studio is my little escape to unwind. She gives the best facials and my brows look amazing too. Rachel has the rare gift of healing hands. I trust her knowledge so much that I let her take creative lead with each treatment and am never disappointed. She knows her stuff! It's a bonus that I just adore her personally, which has made my appointments seem like spending time with a friend.

Update June 2023! Rachel is amazing! I said before we started, "I am stressed". She proceeded to give me the best facial to reduce stress. I didn’t ask for it. She just listened. The facial was mainly focused on massaging the lymphatic area of the face and other wonderful techniques to reduce stress. I needed it! Thank you Rachel!!! I am happy with the services Rachel provides. Her touch when messaging in the products is perfect! Her studio is relaxing, organized and clean. Rachel is a 10 out 10 in all aspects. I would suggest doing a longer session so she can really focus on what your skin needs. She also provides amazing advice. Thank you Rachel!!

I've been seeing Rachel for a few years now and I can't say enough good things about her. She has done wonders for my skin, it has truly never looked better. I leave it to her to decide what my skin looks like it needs, and I leave looking glowy and hydrated. I also love that she uses Image! I look forward to my appointments because I know that I will leave looking better, feeling a million times more relaxed, and like I just spent an hour with a close girlfriend.

For years I have been penciling in my eyebrows and hoping I don’t look like a clown. One day, a friend gave me a gift certificate to Luminous and I had a brow wax and tint, chin and lip waxing. It was the most relaxing, comfortable session and now I am hooked on Rachel’s services! I was thrilled with the results! The salon is serene and welcoming — I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true professional.

Rachel is so kind, gentle and thorough. She does an amazing job and is consistely good. I have only positive things to say. My daughter trusts Rachel so much that she drives from the east bay to get her brows done!

We've been going to Rachel for years for facials, make-up help, and skin care products. She taught my daughter how to apply make-up and has done her make-up before school pictures. Both my teens have gone to her for acne help. When I need products, Rachel schedules a convenient time for me to come pick up my order, or she drop ships it directly to me. Rachel is always kind and ready to share her knowledge. She keeps her space very clean and welcoming.

Rachel is fabulous! Her cute, little studio is warm and welcoming, just like her. Right away I knew I was in the right place. As we began to discuss my skin concerns and goals she was very knowledgeable and was working up a game plan. Throughout the session she explained what she was doing as we went all along. Now...let me just tell you....her face, neck and chest massage is amazingggggggg! Total bliss!
