Multiple workers, few offering assistance. Had to ask a worker for clarification on a discounted product, purchased the product, only to realize it hadn't been discounted. Went to dispute the discount, and was told "I should have read the fine print better"... I HAD THEIR OWN STAFF CONFIRM THE SALE!? I will never shop there again and will return all of the other products I purchased!

I usually have great experiences with the stylists at Ulta. They are usually very competent and efficient but this was the longest hair appointment of my entire life. I don’t know what the other stylists are like but I got my hair done by Eliza. I booked a cut and color and it took her 6.5 hours! I got a balayage in (all over color) and a trim. I have a lot of hair so I expected a few hours but not my whole day. My Ulta stylist back in Colorado did more than that in less than 3 hours. It took her so long I had to come in the next day for my cut/style which just took wayyyyy to long and the style wasn’t great either. I’m giving 2 stars because she was very nice and it’s not her fault that Ulta hired someone inexperienced— she just did her best. But I expect Ulta to have a higher standard. I won’t be coming back to get my hair cut at this location.

The 1 star reviewers are a bit mental. Go to Lowes and try and return something without a receipt or the card you made the purchase with. They'll offer you store credit. The staff here have never pushed me on CC's, and have always been kind. I get things for my wife here and they always help me find good options for presents and gifts. Don't listen to the haters. Thank you for always being helpful.

I have never been to this location & had such a negative experience there today. I go to return over $100 worth of stuff & I explain that I’ve lost the receipt. The girl behind the counter explains that if I don’t have the receipt, I need to show proof of my card ending in a series of numbers I was not familiar with. I check all 3 of the cards I use & explain to her that it doesn’t match any of them. She says it’s not her problem & that all she can offer me is store credit. So I go home & pull up my bank statements & sure enough, the purchase was made on one of the 3 usual cards I carry— except the last 4 digits are completely different than the ones she claimed. Now I have to go in for the THIRD time to return this merchandise because their whole system was down the first time I tried to return. I find it completely unprofessional & inappropriate to refuse a customer their refund because you as the employee are insisting on incorrect information. Is your job behind the counter not customer service? Please do better. ***UPDATE*** I went to a different location today & had zero problems returning everything. They also didn’t require my card in physical form & when I asked why another employee would’ve claimed unrecognizable card numbers they explained that if I paid through Apple Pay, it changes the last 4 digits. So I’m wondering why the employee at this Orem location didn’t tell me that? Again, so unprofessional & inappropriate. Don’t let them scam you into store credit, get your money back & go to a different location because they don’t care about customers here.

I love Ulta and have always had a good experience. This time the seller was pushy about signing up for their credit card, and despite her assuring us there wouldn’t be a hard inquiry, there was. Seriously concerning these sellers don’t know what a hard inquiry is.

I placed a pick up order and had a terrible interaction a was denied my pick up order. I placed the order to a store that is out of my way and went in with two toddlers. I went in knowing that Ulta is NOT a stroller friendly store, and knowing that the pick up is at the front. So I wrangle my two toddlers and walked in to the pick up counter. I was then denied my order by a manager because I forgot my physical photo id. I completely understand they want the id for verification, but I have a photo of my id on my phone, the email confirmation and the app all on my phone. This is not a matter of national security why did a picture of my ID not suffice? Once I was denied I told them to cancel the order which of course they refused because they couldn’t confirm I was who I said I was. I then called customer service and was still denied canceling the order and was told to wait for the order to expire. No absolutely not. I am not waiting to get my money back because the store refused to process my order. Customer service ended up hanging up on me and I added my husband to pick up the order. He then picked up the order without even being asked for his ID. So I guess you don’t need to prove anything when you are an authorized user. We returned the item immediately and will be shopping at Sephora going forward

Allison gave me the WORST customer service I have ever received. When I went to check out she forced me to use all $55 of my ulta points. I asked if I could use $36 and pay the rest and she told me I HAD to buy the full $50 which is weird because I’ve done that before. Ruined my mood AND i can’t get those points back. Do something about Allison please because she made me wanna kms spending all of my hard stacked ulta points. Thanks.
