The employees at the Ulta in Riverdale Utah, are so amazing. They are always willing to help. Recently, I had such a great experience at Ulta thanks to one of the amazing team members McKayla (not sure if I am spelling that right), who helped me during my visit. She was incredibly positive, patient, and genuinely attentive. I really appreciated how she took the time to walk me through different options, answered all my questions without rushing, and made me feel completely comfortable. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out, and it made my shopping experience feel personal and enjoyable. Thank you for going above and beyond. You made my day! She deserves recognition for sure!

McKayla was great. I walked in clueless, told her I haven’t worn makeup since Covid and she did a color match and got it on the first try! Walked in and out of the store in 15 min ☺️

Guy with pink hair just walks off to fan himself instead of checking people out. Manager too busy chit chatting with other workers to check people out. Stood in a long line with a bunch of associates just standing around doing NOTHING. Poorly ran and will not be retuning I'd rather order online direct from the brands instead.the girl that finally checked me out was the rudest person I've ever had to displeasure of interacting with

Just wanted to show some appreciation for the girl working the MAC products yesterday. Wish I would’ve caught her name (dark hair). She was very knowledgeable and helped guide me to some amazing products. She took the time to show me how to apply my makeup step by step so it would last all day. I’m feeling really confident and happy walking into work today. Thanks girl! You’re amazing😍

I’d give them a higher rating if customer service was a little better some staff were rude and when asking for help it just felt like no one wanted to help and was pushed around from one worker to another. The brands and prices are good but workers could do better they do have staff that are very nice so maybe it was an off month because I would go back every week like they’d ask me to but yeah it was not a great experience.

The cashier Maddie was so incredibly kind and helpful. I was nervous to buy a few makeup items I’ve never used, but she was so happy to help and got help from others when she wanted a second opinion!

I've never done my nails and I went to this location to buy some stuff to get started. There's a big Wicked Promotion I was directed to by the staff and there was a pack of 12 nail colors for $15.99 on one of the shelves. PERFECT! I got to the register and it rang up for $50. I said 3 times that I couldn't afford it before the cashier finally stopped moving forward with the transaction. I said I'd go back and pick some other ones. After browsing for a bit and feeling disappointed I decided to go look at the sign again and it absolutely said "$15.99 OPI Wicked". The box fit perfectly in the slot so it wasn't like it was just misplaced by a customer. I took a picture on my phone to show them so they could change the price. I went back to the cashier and said "I looked and the sign says $15.99". The same cashier as before AGGRESSIVELY said "No. It doesn't." I always try to moderate my tone with customer service workers. I've worked retail most of my adult life and I know it can be stressful. I wasn't blaming the cashier. I was just trying to let them know. I said "...yes it does. I took a picture." And again angrily they demanded "Show me." to which I did but I was flustered. They said "That's not the same product". And I said "it says 'OPI Wicked'." Again, I don't know anything about nail products. I've never done my nails. It fit in the spot and it said OPI Wicked. Apparently this is the label for the fake nails, but I didn't know that! I am feeling pretty attacked now and say that I was just hoping they'd honor the price on the shelf. The manager steps in and tell the cashier to take a break. The manager explains that it was in the wrong spot and I ask if they can show me where it's supposed to go because I wouldn't have picked it up if it had said $49.99. Literally none of the employees knew where it was supposed to go. The manager then still refused to honor the price even though she'd seen the cashier be surprisingly hostile to me and admitted she didn't even know where it was supposed to go in the display. She offered me $3 off the total price. A still different employee went out of their way to try and help me find more affordable options. The manager just abandoned me. She claimed that she couldn't change the price when we all know she could. And she could've at least done better than $3 off. She told me that she saw how I was treated as well. They weren't busy. There weren't even other customers around. This was embarrassing and so needless. I will not be going back to this Ulta. Probably no Ulta again. I can buy online without being treated like a bad person for just seeing a product for a price on a shelf. Apparently this store isn't for people who want to explore new beauty items.
