I love J&J Beauty Supply a family owned establishment they’ve been around for a long time always great customer service. I have lived in the area. The beauty supply never disappoints. If there is anything that they don’t have they go above and beyond to provide products and items and a fair price range. Thank you JNJ beauty supply you guys are excellent.

I've been going to that Beauty Supply store for a while. It's in the neighborhood. It's owned by a Korean Couple. They are very nice..But very Slick..They said they were going out of business everything is Half off..So, I go in one day..And the husband tells me Certain things are marked down, not half off.And they still charging regular prices...Wow..That's not what they told me before.Keep an eye out for The Moon Family..

I seen this shop from across the street. I went in and found a shop full of the most beautiful wigs to ever seen. I got great service and even a discount. I recommend J&J beauty supplies to anyone seek good service and quality of care. I went to J&J beauty supplies and MiMi took good care of me. She really knows hair and helped me to look and feel beautiful. Thank you MiMi your Awesome!

Went in there with excitement and money to spend old Chinese guy very rude not very helpful over charged me for some hair from 2005 but good quality he took advantage that I knew that he treated me like i was wasting his time even though I was the only customer would recommend going if the guy is there first and last time people of color should feel welcome at any beauty supply in Oakland

She sold a wig to my mom and aunt and promised that it was human hair. We took the wig to a salon and they said it’s not human hair. When they came back to exchange or return she lied and said she never said that. When they insisted she did and to exchange or return she kept screaming at us like we were assaulting her and called the police, who told her they wouldn’t come. They are two small older ladies who are soft spoken. There were other people in the store that supported them during this promised. She was racist and mean and doesn’t deserve any good reviews.

I love this place! Hands down great service everytime. Knowledgeable staff and a wide array of awesome products for all hair types. I'll be honest and let you know some average products are $1-$3 higher than other stores in Oakland. However, if you consider the neighborhood and the fact you can safely pull out your wallet to make your purchase it's definitely worth it. The store is well lit and easy to spot from the street too:)
