Customer Reviews
The Cosmetics Company Store has a rating of 3.3 out of 5 based on over 31 reviews on Google
I went in intending to buy two shampoos and a conditioner but accidentally purchased three of the same conditioner. When I realized the mistake and asked to exchange one for a shampoo, I was met with rudeness and zero empathy from both the staff and the manager. I was asked to wait 20 minutes just to speak to the manager, only to be told they wouldn’t allow the exchange. It was a simple, reasonable request, and I was shocked at how unhelpful and dismissive the team was. Definitely won’t be returning.
This CCS store is the worst store among all their outlets in the US. They close at random hours for lunch ( no fixed timings). They don’t post their lunch hours nor do they entertain any questions regarding it. Over a period of six months, I have seen their store be closed randomly at any hour of the day.
Dear [Store Manager/Management], I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I recently had at your establishment. During my visit, I encountered a cashier who displayed a noticeable lack of professionalism and provided a service that fell below the standard I expect from your reputable store. The cashier's demeanor was consistently rude, and their attitude conveyed a presumption about my financial capacity, which made the entire transaction uncomfortable. I believe in the importance of respectful and courteous customer service, and I was disheartened by the treatment I received during my visit. I value your store and the products you offer, but this experience has left a negative impression on me. I kindly request that you address this matter to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar situations in the future. Improving customer service is crucial for maintaining the positive reputation your store has built over the years. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address and rectify the issues raised. Sincerely,
Why is it so hard to find helpful customer service staff these days? The cashier/staff Gloria, who works at this store (Milpitas) is a perfect example of someone who refuses to put any kind of effort at their job. I was at the store this week, I was the only customer there and every time I had a question for Gloria she refused to help or even ask the other lady that was there for any suggestions/help. The other lady was actually doing work like stocking products and organizing things while Gloria stood behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. I felt bad asking the other lady for help bc she busy doing work which only highlights the uselessness of having other staff there (Gloria) to help if she refuses to help customers. Again, *NO ONE* else was inside the store so it’s not like she was too busy to help. Here’s a note for whoever is doing the hiring to staff this location: You’re paying Gloria to do an awful job with customers, make that: PAYING CUSTOMERS. She’s one reason why stores like this go out of business. Because customers stop shopping at establishments where the customer service is so bad it ruins the overall experience of shopping there. Come to think of it: this probably helps explain why the store is always empty or almost empty every time I’ve been there. Even on weekends. Please add me to your list of another customer lost.
All these reviews about the store Being closed definitely show people don’t work in retail, much less know how most stores are short staffed. I would rather have them closed and get good service than be open with a lot of people and rude. The prices were great, they always have good promotions. Remember you are shopping at an OUTLET STORE not a boutique. You will be spending less than $100. You get what you pay for.
I've shopped here many times and love it! I highly recommend this store if you want to save money. One downside is most products do not have the price so you have to ask an employee. One con is here it is end of June, they have holiday sets some are marked down and some aren't. Christmas was 6 months ago. That didn't make sense to me. Everything I've bought from here I have loved. So all in all I'm happy.
Monica has a really bad attitude period. Completely ignored me while talking to them and wasn’t even helpful to the other girl who was at the counter. Has no sense of how customer service works. I saw no probing, rephrasing/paraphrasing, active listening, initiative or even analyzing the receipt or the issue that I was dealing with at the checkout. It was a simple thing if she had just asked the right questions than assuming and seeming super disinterested and then throwing shade at me. Like seriously, she was rude and didn’t even bother to handle the situation professionally.
