Luna

This is my favorite Sally's location in the whole area. Every lady that I've met who works here is so friendly and fun to talk to. They're also always super helpful. I've never had any trouble with returns when I've needed to do that and they always have a great selection of products.

Hannah helped me find shampoo and conditioner for greying hair and It made my hair so soft and shiny and brightened the whites! What a huge improvement. She also gave me advice on how and when to use it. She knows her stuff and is so kind and helpful and really seems to care. Her recommendations have been awesome! I’ll go back to her for any beauty needs. Thank you Hannah!

Not a good experience. Sign on the door said they would be back to open the store by 2:30pm. Well it was 2:40pm and no one. I waited and waited. Finally the Sallys employee came from their car to open the store back up. She did not look at me nor acknowledge me. She made it seem like I inconvenienced her.

I will just get what I need at other stores. I don't come in often as my hair products last me a long time but every time I do, I always get followed. I just went in recently after a long time and remembered why I avoid this place. I always walk out feeling accused of something I didn't do. I have never in my entire life, even as a child stolen from a store. I walk in while there are other customers but the workers feel completely fine staying behind the counter but when I go into the aisles they always find a reason to be within view, just idly standing by the door where I am in their view while the other customers are left alone. I walk to a different aisle and somehow they need to be over there now too. Im not even wearing baggy clothes, and no purse. Can't they see I wouldn't even be able to hide anything? This trip just reminded me why I don't frequent the place. I'll never go back now, it is so insulting.

Tuesday Nov 1st - I went in right before they closed. The product I love is being discontinued. I was frustrated but both ladies helped me. The young lady with glasses was absolutely amazing. I told her what I was looking for and she helped get me replacement products and said I could return them if they didn't work. All 3 products were amazing and I am so happy with her assistance and the customer service at this store!

The staff here DOES NOT understand the basics in additive color formulation. After weeks of debating a color change for fall I came in with a few more questions while I was debating transitioning from a 5RV to a 6NGR. I spoke with one staff member who was rude, dismissive and acted like I didn’t understand the BASIC principles of color theory when I questioned her "so I’m moving from a formula with Violet to a formula with golden tones, I’m really concerned that this will turn my hair dark muddy brown because those colors are opposite on the color wheel and typically neutralize each other out… can you tell me if hair color works the same way?" She said "no. There is no brown in the color you chose (6NGR) so this is fine & you need this extra add-in packet to cover gray because your 10vol developer won’t work" I listened, trusted her & took the tiny packet. The next day I was still VERY on the fence, it didn’t feel right that she dismissed the color wheel, WHEN HAIR COLOR IS ADDITIVE & I already had Violet tones in my hair. So I went back to speak with someone different the next day. I should have known something was up by the CONFUSED look on her face when I shared that "Violet and Yellow make brown when you add them together" to which I got nearly the exact same response… so I thought - ok hair color must work differently… I have more than the 20years of experience in color theory, just not at the salon level. So I go home, I add the gray coverage packet to my 6NGR - which turns is PUMPKIN ORANGE, which was fine because that’s pretty close where I wanted to end up… after the formula oxidized on my head for the processing time suggested (45min) my hair is DARK MUDDY BROWN. They lied. They both did and they’re not trained BASIC COLOR THEORY. Do not trust the workers at this location to trouble shoot your hair color. EVER. They both acted like I was dumb and my fears were unfounded, that I couldn’t possibly know what I was talking about & the VERY THING I wanted to avoid happened. I’m so disappointed. Now in order to FIX THEIR mistake, I have to pay $500+ in a salon for a "color correction". These employees should know their limits and feel comfortable in their understanding of BASIC color theory. They should be trained in a way where they feel comfortable saying "I don’t know" because that’s ok! They are NOT HAIR STYLISTS. Instead, they can say "try it at your own risk because I’m uncertain of the outcome" and that way if it goes wrong, it’s the consumers fault. DO NOT TRUST THE COLOR ADVICE AT THIS SALLY’s you will be sorry if you do!
