Walmart Supercenter

Today, January 26th 2026 at 1:15 i went to this Walmart, and for the first time in years, i was greeted with a smile. Very nice, older man at the front and hes the only one at this location thats ever smiled at me and said hello. The lady watching the self check out, not so much. But this is an improvement.

Forget this incompetent walmart. I ordered groceries for online pickup, after I parked, 5 cars came after me and had their groceries delivered to their vehicles. 20 minutes went by.and order still hadn't been delivered. Called customer service was hung up on once then called back and was transferred. Where is the customer service ? Groceries should be delivered in the order it's received. FORGET YOU. I'll never come back.

This Walmart couldn't be more frustrating. They rearranged the store, and now it's worse than before in every way. Why is shampoo now 7 aisles away from deodorant and toothpaste, when they used to be next to each other? Now they've cut the self checkout by 50%, haven't compensated by having more cashiers, and they never have bags anymore which forces you to buy or steal theirs. The worst part are the stockers. They'll have 4-6 stockers in an aisle at prime time, with lines of customers waiting at both ends of the aisles. It couldn't be more obvious to go back to stocking at night, like the first 60 years of Walmart. Whatever they're trying to do now is worse for the customer in every way. I've made my final trip to Walmart and am switching to Hy-Vee from now on.

I’m giving them one star because 1) the quality of their produce and care in checking items is poor 2) their website kicks you out and you lose progress, and their customer follow up is bad. I had a pickup order - over $400, and received horrible produce (rotten - white liquid coming from decaying grapes), a package of bagels that had a slit in it, and muffins that expired the next day. Trying to resolve this has been unsuccessful… I got kicked out of their system. Then left a message, no return call or email. I tried to "chat" but the AI Bot couldn’t help. But if I want, I can spend another 45 minutes going back to the store and taking these things backs and spend more time for a problem I didn’t create. I offered to send pictures. Nothing. I feel certain, not one employee and certainly not an investor would serve the items at their house that I was given. Do better.

Normally I have a good experience at this Walmart, it’s quiet and clean. However today I went in and they’re under construction so all the aisles are moved and taken apart. I was in the school supplies section and when I turned the corner there was an open area. This area was not blocked off and there was no indications that customers could not cut through that area. I was incorrect in assuming that however, as An older male employee with white longer hair came around the corner pushing some sort of pallet, with what I assume is shelving on it. He then screamed at me "WERE BUILDING SOMETHING HERE". Being screamed at by employees is generally not how I expect visits to stores to go. If you don’t want people in that section or to turn the corner then block it off instead of allowing employees to scream at people. Absolutely disgusting behavior by that employee screaming at a customer.

I just discovered that the vitamin D I bought for my baby had expired almost a year ago, and I’m furious! Selling expired products for infants is completely unacceptable. This is about the health and safety of babies! I don’t even have the receipt or box anymore, which makes this even more disappointing. I hope action is taken! Honestly, I’m considering legal action so this never happens again to another parent or baby.

Absolutely do not go to this Walmart if you have a check to cash. They tried to insinuate that I had a check they couldn’t cash. I received the check from a local buy sell trade store that I sell clothing to and have gone to this particular Walmart multiple times to cash the check with no problem. Apparent these employees, specially an older white woman and one of the managers who was also an older white woman think they can pick and choose who they cash checks for. They tried to tell me it was a payroll check. I’m a housewife, I don’t have a job. I had to drive to a Walmart over 30 minutes away and they had absolutely no problem. I don’t know what their bias against me was but they 100% have a chip on their shoulder.
