Ulta Beauty

Posting my experience with the Salon only. I don't shop at Ulta too often but I do use their salon services. Anya is a fantastic hair stylist. She is very thorough in trying to understand exactly what it is that you want. I have had color corrections, all over blonde, highlights, haircutting services, olaplex treatments(my favorite) and more, all from Anya. I have never left unsatisfied with my results. Would definitely recommend stopping in and making an appointment with Anya.

THANK YOU JOSH, NATASHA, AND JACKIE. I was in a pretty bad situation with my hair and had let myself go. I had done this before with not taking care of my hair but as a first time mom I genuinely let myself go. Now I’m learning to love myself, and my hair so my daughter understands the importance of self love. But thanks to Josh, Natasha, and Jackie at ulta they were able to detangle my horrible horrible knot. They also surprised me with some goodies. I lost a lot of hair but unfortunately it’s what had to happen because of how bad it was. Thanks to ulta beauty 1170 for fixing me up!!

During the holiday shopping season my husband and I went shopping at the Ulta store on Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, shopping for our teenager daughter. They were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend their associate Lanna. She was able to get us everything we needed and my daughter was very happy with everything that she helped us pick out. Couldn’t have asked for a better shopping experience.

I'm a big fan of Ulta's skincare section. Everything was in stock and affordable. The products were in good condition and I'm sure they will last a long time. The make up section is another story. Personally, I don't buy make up from Ulta. I'm a huge Kosas fan and they do not carry that brand (as far as I know). The make up section is not as well kept/organized as the skincare section. And I've frequently seen empty spaces on the shelf. Soooo if you like affordable and good quality skincare, Ulta might be a great place to check out.

I would like to recognize Seth in the MAC area. He assisted my daughter and me for her wedding and has truly mastered his craft at a very young age. I told him he should be doing make-up for movie stars as he’s THAT good! Seth is knowledgeable about the make-up in all product lines at Ulta and will choose products which he believes will work best for you. His skill at applying the make-up is where he truly shines! I’ve had a lot of makeovers in my life, and his abilities easily surpass anyone I’ve had in the past. Thank you, Seth, for your expert skills and the time you spent to make sure my daughter and I "glowed" on her wedding day. If anyone is looking for a makeover, set-up an appointment with Seth. You’ll be delighted and amazed by this young man’s talents!

I think I have given grace, but this is twice now that I have ordered store pick up, and received poor service from the gentleman working at the counter. The first time he was quite demeaning in his greeting----regardless of what is in Ulta's advertising, FYI, it's not ok (or appreciated by some) to call women of a certain age "sweetie". This time, I encountered an attitude from the start of the interaction. He is probably a wonderful employee, and has worked in customer service for some time, so there maybe a level of complacency... A refresher in good customer service, and/or sensitivity training may be needed, because it's off-putting and not what your company culture represents.

had an awful day after my makeup bag was stolen with all my expensive products, and Hailey completely turned it around. She took the time to really listen, helped me rebuild everything I needed, and didn’t rush me once. Her product knowledge was on point, and she made sure I left feeling confident and put back together. This wasn’t just customer service — it was genuine care. Ulta needs more employees like her. Because of Hailey, I’ll definitely be coming back.
