I was in Ulta Johnson City to find my niece things for Christmas but I was completely lost. A young lady named Laura was beyond helpful. She went out of her way to recommend things that my niece would like, as well as making sure I got fantastic service. She was friendly and helpful and my niece will be extremely thankful for all the things I was able to find with that help. Laura was exceptional and I really appreciate all the hard work she put in to assist me.

Brooklyn was super helpful and very patient with us on a very busy day before Christmas. We had a return and I was trying to find perfume for my wife. She was wonderful and made our experience there so much better!

I went in for a brow appointment and I was on time and the worker told me that I’d have to wait for the brow person to come back. So I sit waiting 15-20 mins and she comes walking in with shopping bags from other stores in the mall. I wait another 10 mins on her. She botched my brows and drew in the mistakes she made. I recommend just going to bonita brow because at least they’re professional. Never again ulta.

Probably the worst retail customer service in the entire Johnson city mall. Went in before Christmas and asked 3 times for help and nobody ever responded. Ended up sitting IN the store and ordered the item online. Then attempted to return the item and after being told they would return to my card, even though it’s barely past 30 days due to winter storms and store being closed, the useless associate told me "nobody at corporate cares about that".

Very Narrow isles and walkways, if you have a baby then good luck pushing a stroller through here. I had a real problem getting through here with a UppaBabby stroller that I had navigate with the aid that f my spouse.

This location needs a tester bottle for every perfume. I found a perfume I wanted to smell, but there wasn't a tester for it. An employee came up behind me and said "we have testers" in a snooty voice. If you had testers, I wouldn't have tried to smell one out of a box. Do better. Left without buying anything.

This Ulta locations layout is hostile to anyone in a wheelchair. I was accompanying someone in a wheelchair while visiting the mall on Saturday September 6th and she wanted to go into this Ulta. It became very clear after entering that wheelchair bound people are not welcome here. The floor is so crammed with displays it’s cramped for someone without a chair to move around in let alone someone with one. To me this store gives off the vibe that if you’re wheelchair bound your moneys no good here. It’s unreal that something like this is even still an issue in 2025. I wish I had taken photos of the cramped floor to attach with this review. Hopefully changes will be made to this location so EVERYONE can enjoy it.
