I love shopping at Ulta! So many new sections. So many options to choose from! Very organized and clean. - Sometimes they’re out of stock of popular items - which is understandable! But you can always order and get things shipped to you, if what you’re looking for is not in the store. - There are usually lots of employees roaming around. Sometimes they’ll ask if you need help, not very often though. The ratio of employees on the floor per employees at the register doesn’t make sense. - Their customer service is good (not great) - not sure I’ve encountered anything or anyone exceptional as of yet. But at least they’re not rude. - Bottom line - Ulta is my Go To!

I always get the best service at this store. I’ve received damaged products a few times and I’ve always gotten them replaced with ease. And whenever I’ve asked for product recommendations they’ve never failed. I’ve recently come in to get a hair gel for my boyfriend (since I know nothing about men’s products 😅). The woman gave me two great options to use as he has thicker hair and the product he was using before wasn’t lasting. She then told me exactly how to apply it and if it was too much a second product to use instead! (The first product is American crew fiber for anyone who wanted to know) The only downside is this store usually seems to have low stock whenever I come in and doesn’t have any in the back when I ask often. (Usually with the Paul Mitchell hair products specifically).

I get my hair cut / colored there regularly. Helpful staff, pretty clean store. The salon has good availability and can be very accommodating

Tree Hut is the best I love all of their products. And Ulta was having a sale on Tree Hut products..

Went to grab lip care collab... Didn't have it. (ELFxLiquid Death). Bought a few Maelys kits & solo bottles...

My eyebrow specialist, Daryl was amazing! She did a fantastic job on my eyebrows and was personable throughout my service. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff were downright rude. One employee, who appeared to be a manager with a headset and iPad, seemed particularly dismissive. It’s worth remembering that the culture of a team comes from the top down. If a manager’s attitude is dismissive and rude, that’s the example staff follows. Normally I would shop after my appointment, but this environment was too uncomfortable to stay any longer than necessary. Stay strong Daryl, that can't be an easy environment to work in. I don't normally run to the internet to leave a negative review but this experience was over the top.

If you’re a brown girl, I’d only recommend going to this Ulta if you already know exactly what you need and don’t mind dealing with microaggressions. Before we even went in, my friend warned me that she had been profiled here before. I took her for her birthday since it was close to the mall we were visiting. There were at least 12 employees inside, and not one person greeted us or offered help as we wandered around. When we walked in, there were about seven girls at the front who just stared at us. Later, we got confused about where the checkout line started, and the two girls at the counter just looked at us while we were obviously trying to figure it out. The cashier didn’t acknowledge us until another customer told us we could go ahead. She didn’t look up once while checking us out or while making an account. If you want to feel seen and valued, especially as a Black woman, I’d suggest going elsewhere. But if you already know what you need and don’t mind being ignored, then maybe this location will work for you. Honestly, it was disappointing.
