SanTan Village

It was nice to checkout the outdoor mall today. We got there nice and early before it got too busy.

Lots to do and eat. The highlight on this trip was Güscht Döner Haus - Turkish Mediterranean Wraps & Bowls, the new Turkish restaurant outside the movie theater. The chocolate baklava was stellar. The chicken was moist and delicious with yummy garlic sauce. They also have beef and offer several sauce choices. The rice on the side was flavorful and the bowls include a salad. Adding chicken to the fries is the perfect light lunch. The kids love Build a Bear, the pet store and the playground. There are so many treat shops, clothing, department stores (Nordstrom Rack), gifts and the holiday options are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Great place to shop til you drop then wind down the day with great happy hour specials or watch movie and grab a bite inside Harkins. It can be great experience most year round but be prepared for unseasonably hot weather in warmer months.

Shake shack doesn't disappoint, although the flavors are a little bit different than the original shake shack in New York City. But their burgers and even the hot dogs are full of flavor and make sure you don't leave without ordering one of their delicious shakes.

A great outdoor shopping mall with all of the necessities- Lululemon, Apple, Best Buy, Footlocker, Dick’s, Macy’s, Dillards, Total Wines, and some great restaurants- Bourbon and Bones being my favorite! Parking can be a challenge at times but it isn’t too bad. There are 2 turbo chargers available on the southeast side of the village between Kona Grill and Best Buy.

This is a nice shopping mall, to an extent. I’m not sure who came up with the idea of an outdoor mall in Arizona, but it can be nice from October to March, then it becomes unbearable. Decent selection of stores, but not too many good restaurants, mainly overpriced chains. There’s also an underlying snotty vibe at this mall. It’s got Scottsdale vibes but none of the actual glam of Scottsdale. I prefer Chandler mall but will go here when needed. It can be pretty at night time, but it’s usually decently hard to find parking.

Good pizza, but not great. With that said it was a to-go order. I'm sure it's better before the 10-minute ride home.
