A Great Massage (Asian Massage Therapy for Pain, Stress and Relaxation)

My massage with Lia was exceptional. She took the time to listen carefully to my concerns before starting, and her skilled hands found every knot and tight spot I didn't even know I had. Her pressure was perfect—firm yet adaptable, exactly what I needed. She has an intuitive touch and a truly healing presence. Thank you, Lia, for such a therapeutic and relaxing experience. I refused to give them more of my business. I went, paid for the $100 deep tissues. It was great. However when we finished i paid the $100 plus a $20 tip. The masseur protested that he should get more! This was a few years ago when 15% was considered the standard. His protests took me by surprise since I was tipping above the standard. He said that he'd worked really hard on me and deserved MORE! I was shocked at his behavior. He was incensed and was acting as if I was cheating him. I was frankly embarrassed by the scene and certainly didn't want to "short" him. So I then offered forth the remaining cash I had and asked him how much more he thought that I owed him. He reached out and took another $20 from my hands. I was dumbstruck. I couldn't believe he was expecting and TOOK a 40% tip!! I walked away feeling very offended and taken advantage of. Needless to say that ruined whatever good the massage had done. They do great work but I resent being treated so horribly. They SUCK- big time!!! A the saying goes "people may forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. "

Came in with bad lower back pain and stiffness. Got the 60-minute deep tissue massage. The therapist found the tight spots and worked them out well. It was a bit intense in places but worth it—pain is noticeably better and I can move much easier now. Solid relief, would go back！
