Floating Lotus Therapeutic Spa and Health Center

My husband, stepdaughter and I visited the Floating Lotus today for the first time from a recommendation. My husband and I received a 1 hr couples deep tissue massage with Mike and Kristen , they were amazing! This was my first massage and Kristen was very patient with me and from the beginning I felt the stress & knots just melting away. My husband really liked Mike as he felt so much better after our session. My stepdaughter(14 y/o) received a 30 min facial and she says she loved it and felt pampered. My intentions of this spa experience were met beyond words. As we were checking out , we went ahead and booked with Mike and Kristen again for one of their Valentines couples packages. Hoping our appointment comes quickly because we are ready to go back. On behalf of my family, thank you to all the staff! You guys did NOT disappoint!

Signature facial with Leah was absolutely wonderful. My skin felt smooth and hydrated with a glow and I felt relaxed and pampered. Leah is a knowledgeable aesthetician and answered all my concerns. Can’t wait to try some of the other facials they provide. I would recommend Leah to anyone who is looking for a great aesthetician.

I visited Floating Lotus Spa because I felt stressed in my body especially neck, shoulders, back and I was looking for a nice spa place in Gainesville. I had a Swedish massage with JR and it was great and very relaxing experience. My neck and shoulders were still suffering and I wanted to try Deep tissue massage few days later. I had a great Deep tissue massage recently with Rudi S. - as well very relaxing he is strong and knows when and how to use his strength to release tension and stiffness my tension in shoulders subsided and my neck is more relaxed. Both massages very equally great but very different. The yoga practice with Lori is very calming - rejuvenating and she is a great teacher. The staff very friendly and welcoming. If you're feeling exhausted or stressed and need to unwind, I highly recommend coming here.

I've been to Floating Lotus multiple times for a massage and it is always a great experience. The place very tranquil and relaxing, super clean, and the staff is very professional and polite. This evening went again and had by far the best deep tissue massage I have ever had thanks to Rebecca. Highly recommend Floating Lotus and definitely recommend Rebecca!

251029 Got a massage by Rudi S. His touch was energetic, quietly enthusiastic, and powerful. If you’re someone with stiffness or stagnation, and are looking to get some movement in your body, then I can recommend his work. Also, if you are a big person that wants some more "umph" in your massage, I can see his work being a good fit. Same goes for those that prefer deeper or stronger work. He’s a mover with strength in his hands and body. I’m a guy, and I felt comfortable with his work and touch throughout the massage. He was respectful throughout it. The Floating Lotus Spa creates a nice and serene environment for massage. We’ve been there twice and have been treated courteously and professionally there both times.

I had my first massage and sauna experience at Floating Lotus Therapeutic Spa and Health Center and I was extremely pleased! My fiance treated me to a sauna session and couples massage. A very calm and relaxing atmosphere- I immediately felt my stress melt away as soon as I walked in. The sauna was great and the staff was very accommodating making sure we had water or anything else we needed. I got a deep tissue massage and my fiance got more of a relaxing, Swedish massage. Both were incredible!! I would absolutely return for more massages.

While the shop has nice ambiance and friendly staff, it’s the second time I’ve been and tried to get a "relaxing" massage. Both time I’ve ended up getting far more of a "sports" or "deep tissue" massage. The massage was fine, but not what I was looking for. Not sure if the staff is just locked in in certain styles.
