Walmart Supercenter

Spark here. First and last time I shopped at Elgin Walmart. I filled a cart with around $500 worth of items. When I checked out, the guy asked me to go to terminal 21 because that's for Spark. After checking, he said he needed to go through all the items. Since when must employees go through all items for Spark ? Worst experience as Spark, not anymore here even for curb pickup 😤😡😠

The prices for premium choices for some brands and products are excellent. Although the pricing is extremely competitive, I have found some same-brand items like 1-quart motor oil and 1-gallon coolant much more cheaper at other places. Walmart is all around a must-stop to shop for some exclusive items available and priced right only at Walmart.

If zero stars was an option I would have picked that. Prior to this I have used Walmart my entire life. I will never go back. The first time I tried to return/exchange diapers for my newborn baby to get the right size I was informed that my state issued ID wouldn’t work because I had just renewed it and was waiting for the hard copy. I had the paper and old on with me. The paper issued by the stategovernment. They told me they can’t use that to trade in the diapers or even exchange them but they would be able to use that "to cash a check" . In what world does that make sense!?!? Then this most recent time I went in to do this again with all the proper documentation I was once again told no. I was told that they don’t do exchanges and that they can’t refund anything over $50 without a receipt. Well guess who doesn’t get receipts with baby shower gifts???? Most women! The box of diapers I was trying to exchange, that’s right I wanted the diapers I just needed the right size yet again, was $60. $10 over "the limit". I’m not here trying to swindle you. I just want the right size diapers for my baby and now I’m stuck with two boxes of the wrong size and no way to get the right one without spending money and just sitting on completely unopened boxes of diapers. This policy is a joke and this company apparently is one also. I will never come back.

It’s a nice sunny day in February, and I thought that I could do some lovely grocery shopping for my girlfriend I’m usually well prepared to go shopping. I’ll take maybe 3 different cards and some money on hand just in case something goes wrong, but I always end up using my phone to pay This time I reconsidered. I mean, I’ve been to Target, they take Tap to Pay I’ve been on public transit, they take Tap to Pay I’ve been to gas station pumps, they take Tap to Pay (sometimes) I’ve been to Woodman’s, they take Tap to Pay even though they only support one credit card So I’m like alright. Surely the company that brings in the most revenue and has the most employees in the US would have tap to pay 😀 Whatever I don’t want to write anymore. After frustratingly stumbling to find the stupid cheese dip which was not in the cheese aisle, and not being able to find golden potatoes in the potato aisle. I just can’t anymore. They don’t have Tap to Pay because they want your data and want to make more money off of you, and I’m just disappointed On the plus side, the Walmart employee that helped me was very nice. I would give 6 stars for her, but I’m tired of these stupid greedy corporations cutting corners to provide a worse consumer experience so that their shareholders can make more profit I’m going to enjoy the rest of this day before the sun sets

Do not use the pickup option. They take forever and do not even get the correct items. I wait forever and people that pull up after me, get their items first. I wonder if they have all their correct items

I usually find everything that I'm looking for at a great price. I'm obsessed with their wax melts, especially Christmas Cold Brew. Makes my apartment smell soooooo divine. If I don't have time or don't feel like going to the store, I use the Walmart + delivery app. Definitely recommend. They could improve the app a little bit since it lags a lot of the time which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Very nice employees! Some things are locked up and it takes FOREVER for someone to come open it. But it's a great place with great prices!
