Ulta Beauty

Went in around the holiday season for make-up, with no idea where to start. Thankfully, Shamey came to my rescue. She helped me find a few products that would fit my needs, matched to my skin tone, and showed me how to use them. After following her instructions, my make-up looked amazing and I got many compliments. Thanks so much!!

I just walked into this store to do a no-receipt return. My husband bought my daughter a gift that she ended up with 2 of. Unfortunately, in the Christmas chaos, the receipt is nowhere to be found. I explained to the caahier that I was positive my husband didn’t use a rewards account, he wouldn’t even know what that was. Therefore needing the no-receipt return. She said she cannot do that, so I questioned that, I had already looked up the return policy. It clearly states that a no receipt refund is an option but at the lowest sale price, that’s fine, I knew we didn’t have the receipt, our fault. She still told me no so I said okay, I’ll just go to the other store and as I walked out, she said "maybe you just shouldn’t shop at Ulta." I turned around and repeated what she said to make sure I didn’t misunderstand, and she replies, "I didn’t say that, I said your husband shouldn’t shop here" then turned to the customers behind me and said "I didn’t say that did I?" I told her that was unacceptable to talk to people that way and to try and involve other customers who have nothing to do with the situation. Completely unprofessional behavior and zero customer service. I will not be going back to this location but I will be contacting corporate immediately tomorrow.

I did not like how Donovan entered the same aisle I was in and pretended to look for items on the shelf. He lingered in that aisle for an excessive amount of time, making the situation uncomfortable. I also ended up spending far more than I had intended, which only added to my frustration. What stood out to me was that there were white women in the store whom he did not approach or hover near at all. The behavior from him, along with the female employee with glasses and bangs, made the experience feel very uncomfortable and inappropriate. Not everyone is trying to steal, I understand that you have a job to do; but Hawkins customers down is what’s going to make you lose customers! Ridiculous

Worst Ulta ever. I usually go to the one in Apex and that’s awesome! The line for checkout was long and we already waited 10 minutes until the cashier called for help. Then help came but the help rather chatted with the other cashier then start working. Several customers including me left the store without getting anything. What an annoying staff and experience.

I came to this Ulta by *complete and total coincidence* because I wasn’t able to get to the one I usually go to, and THANK GOD FOR SERENDIPITY. I have never, in almost 30 years of living, experienced, in a beauty store, the kind of PATIENCE, and SUPPORT, and GUIDANCE, and the utmost PROFESSIONALISM, that I had the pleasure of experiencing yesterday because of Ulta’s one and only Donovan. My God in Heaven, WOW. I said to Donovan, I said – "I am resolved, come hell OR high water to be the Baddie that I know I was always meant to be and YOU are going to help make that happen" and Donovan delivered – stunningly. Mind you, this experience was not, by any means, unique to me. Despite my best efforts (frankly) to wave Donovan down and *away* from the person they were helping before, they continued to give that patron their complete and undivided attention until said patron found *precisely* the thing that they were after. I cannot overstate how heartening and thoroughly refreshing it was to not only experience but to also *witness* this level of conscientiousness and love for the work. I am eternally grateful we crossed paths; I spent $210.70 there yesterday (NOT EVEN PLANNING TO) – and I don’t regret a single cent of it because of the quality of the product and because of the quality of the *service*

I found the lady who checked on me quite rude, she talked to me while not looking at me, no questions, no nothing. Pretty much felt like since I wasn't getting hair services through them, they weren't interested. I left without getting anything. Especially after she suggested another store 🙂 Go to Sephora, go to Amazon. Go anywhere else.

I will never purchase from Ulta again!!! Over $250.00 dollars worth of products ordered and they keep stringing me along with my delivery date!!! Sephora has never been this difficult to order online from. I want my package!!! This is so unacceptable, terrible customer service. This will be my last time ordering with Ulta.
