In NY we have so many family owned restaurants, pasta places and butchers. I miss that. When I heard about this place - I just had to visit. I was very impressed. It reminded me of home. GREAT BUTCHER SHOP! All kinds of meats, even a freezer filled with meats for dogs. I also brought some cool breads, etc. You get a 10% coupon on your first visit and get 20% off on birthdays if you give them your name and email. Check the vacuum seal packages for cuts or holes on all meat before purchasing. This store will not refund your money unless you drive back to the store in person receipt in hand.

I like Ranch Foods Direct! They have all great meats of all kinds. What I love best is their Applewood Smoked Bacon! Sliced thin amd cooks crispy on a low heat, which is how I cook bacon as I dont like burnt bacon. They have a small veggie fridge and some non fridge veggies. Their beef prices are high like grocery stores which surprised me being their beef comes off ranches from CO and KS. I would think the prices would be less but then I dont know the cost of processing beef is where they pass the cost.to consumers. All the beef set aside, this is an awesome place and lots of old time options how I grew up! I love this place!

Don’t buy a gift card from here…. Bought a $250 gift card, used it once and now they can’t find the card in their system… I have had the card for over a year but it didn’t say anything about expiring. They gave me a 10% coupon and sent me in my way. No gift card, no resolution, just the 10% discount..What a joke….

I just bought lots of meat and I should have read the ingredients. Why on earth add dextrose or nitrates to perfect meat??? Cancer causing, diabetes crap and so on should not be added to food! Seriously disappointed in this company! Do your research....

Usually well stocked and easy to get what you need. Generally really like this place. However today they informed me they lost an order I placed weeks ago for the holiday. The butcher was unhelpful and dismissive. Luckily the manager was able to get what I needed. All in all a decent place to shop, but check on your orders.

Ranch Foods Direct is one of the best places in town. The butchers are incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions or offer advice on the perfect cut. The rest of the staff are just as friendly and helpful, making every visit a great experience. Beyond the amazing meats, the store is full of wonderful local products and surprises you won’t find in a regular grocery store. A true hidden gem in Colorado Springs!
