I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I went to purchase a favorite fragrance to gift and to try something new for myself. Within 5 min's Flowerbomb Tiger Lily got my attention, so I wanted to purchase a sample. There was a travel size available and a mini duo. I asked the clerk what was the oz's on the duo she said, "I don't know." I asked, "can you open the case and look on the back." She said, "well I can't open the case unless you're wanting to buy." That's literally why I'm asking...to buy! Then she opened the case and I asked do these samples have a little pump spray like the travel sizes and she said, "I don't know." I said well you can just slide it here (and I touched top of the box) and see and she said, "NO! you can't touch this or "they'll" accuse you of stealing!" Ma'am what!? You're literally standing right here with me! I was beyond taken aback! I left w/ only purchasing the sample and made my other purchase online! How can "they" accuse me of stealing when I'm standing here with an associate! NEVER AGAIN!
I have been a customer for many years and have spent enough money at this store to maintain diamond status year after year. The last few times I went into the store, the vibe was already different from what I was used to. Today, I came to try out a new foundation and 3 (!!!) employees standing in the same isle just ignored me the whole time. I was ready to splurge today but decided to stick to my essentials only. The cashier was pretty rude too. Just unbelievable what happened to this store. Might as well purchase from Amazon or your competitors down the street going forward - what's the point of coming to your store if you're ignored and treated rudely? Very disappointed.
Bad first experience and will be my last. I went in to purchase cologne because I wanted to smell it in person. There was a tall blonde middle aged woman that was completely ignoring me while talking to her friend. I went to try the tester and the nozzle was missing so I couldn't even test the cologne. When I asked for their attention to unlock the case, she was snippy and said "ok, well...we've got to find the key hold on" in a condescending tone. Then when someone else with the key actually helped me, they selected the wrong cologne variation which I did not realize until I got home. They also want your personal information to spam your email or phone and without it the cashier warned me there would be no returns. I could force the issue but I kind of like the cologne well enough to keep it or give it as a holiday gift. But the customer service was horrible, almost snobbish. It's fine though, retail is on it's way out because of practices like these. I looked at my reciept and realized I also paid 40% more than online direct from Armani for a $100 bottle of cologne.
NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!!! I came into the store with my mother and daughter to shop for gift giving, we wondered from the fragrance department to the skincare department while waiting for our current associate to get back with us, while waiting in the skincare aisle, one of the Managers were watching us. When we turned around she was right there in our faces trying to "customer service" us as if we were trying to steal?! I guess it was because we’re black and we just got off work, still in our work clothes, so I guess we weren’t dressed the part to be there shopping. She also watched my Mother from the time that encounter happened all the way up until she made her purchase and left.There is also a sign on the entrance door that says "Hate does not have a home here" but we truly felt like we were being racially profiled! We’llstick with going to Sephora like we always have been.
I came in looking for a specific product. Dee happened to be the one who asked if I was finding everything okay and I asked her help with finding it. it turned out the product was not on the floor yet but it was showing available on the app. she kindly went to the back and got them for me. she was super helpful and patient. shoutout to Dee for helping me and going above and beyond and grabbing product from the back for me.
Didn't have any intentions when I came into the store to buy anything.. My sister had an appointment to have her hair cut so I came along for the ride. However while Inside the store I was greeted by Regina. She was super pleasant, ask if I had any questions regarding face creams and such. As we sat there talking she ask if I had some time to try a few things out. Next thing I know I was setting up in a chair with her treating me to a mini facial. I absolutely LOVED it! She made me feel like I was having a day at the spa. We chatted away about almost everything. She explained to me how to use the products and made my whole experience Wonderful.. Again I absolutely loved it .. there was no pushy sales just very appreciated knowledge of how to take care of my skin type. She knows her stuff too! I'm very grateful. Very! She made me feel so pretty at a time she didn't have to.. Thank you Miss Regina... And as for my sister and the services she received were top notch! She got a cut and highlights.. Let me say Chyanne did an amazing job on my sister's hair.. As a matter of fact I'm making my appointment with her when we leave so she can do mine.. Thank you ladies so very much. Will definitely be back!! If you are looking to feel special even if it's for the moment come in and check these ladies out .. totally worth it .. ❤️
I needed products for face and body care, so I visited Ulta. I usually buy my perfume and other items there, but I needed more specific products today. I knew what I needed but wasn’t sure which products to buy. I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome from the start. Linda approached me and asked if I needed help, which I did. The treatment I received from Linda was outstanding. She understood my skin concerns and helped me find products that are chemical-free and good for my skin, which is essential to me. Although I am not from Tennessee, I highly recommend this Ulta store. Everyone is friendly and helpful, making it a great shopping experience.
